The Gourmet d’Expert Electric Skillet is a multi-functional electric skillet with two cooking plates; a deep pan (3-1/8” deep) with a divider to enjoy two types of hot pot at once and a dual surface griddle pan for grilling meats and vegetables. The grill surface allows fats to drip aay while the griddle surface is ideal for grilling vegetables. Both pans are made of titanium and cermaic enhanced non stick coated. Pans are removable for easy cleaning. The tempered glass lid has a convenient easy-to-hold-and-place-knob and is also flat, making it easy to place upside-down to keep the tabletop clean.

Split Hot Pot Best Choice
I’d been holding off buying a hot pot for a while. I thought an induction cooktop was the way to go but the reviews for induction plates are all over the place and way too many choices. I also needed a yin yang pot so I could eat vegan on one side. That would have been an added purchase. So when I came across this Zojirushi electric skillet with a non-stick yin yang pot, I thought, this is a no-brainer! The brand is very established with an excellent reputation and this set comes with the pot I need PLUS a griddle to cook your meats and vegetables on if you so choose. I’ve never used the griddle but it is a solid, quality piece as is the hot pot. This is NOT some cheap knockoff. The non-stick and weight of the pot and griddle are EXCELLENT! We now cook hot pot once a week. Each side easily holds a bag of soup base plus a cup or two more. One soup base bag probably fills one side half way. Plug it in, move the temperature slider to high, and put the lid on. It heats up the liquid pretty fast and maintains the heat . Note: Without the lid, it’s slow to heat up, as expected. Performance exceeds my expectation. Very happy with this purchase! Yes, I highly recommend it!

Great for Hot Pot for 2-4 people
The Zojirushi Yin Yang Hot Pot is the perfect size for 2-4 people. The center divider allows for two different types of soup for the hot pot. The temperature control was easy to use and was able to bring the soup back up to boil in no time after we put in the ingredients. The pot was easy to clean after use.Unlike some reviews that the bottom of my pot is still looks new after use. Not sure why some reports that it turned black, maybe they use it on an open flame?Will try the grill when the weather is warmer so I can use it out door, don’t want to set off the smoke detectors in the house..LOL

Easy to setup and clean
It’s a great size for 2-4 people and fits a small dining table. We didn’t use any extension cord and felt that the base is safe enough to place on our white wood table (with a heatproof pad underneath) during the cooking process. It stayed cool even when the hotpot was simmering/boiling and when we did the grilling too. It’s also sturdy yet easy to setup and cleanup is a breeze. For a quicker process, we placed the hotpot pan on the stove then transferred it back on the base once the water started boiling. We cooked the hotpot dishes on the table. Afterwards, we did the grilling. The only thing is that there is nowhere for the oil to runoff so we just used paper towels to dab the oil off. No biggie. If you do hotpot or grilling often enough, it can justify the cost in the long run. It looks like it will last long and will withstand wear and tear. A great investment overall.

We wanted to find a grill that is great for indoor table dinning BBQ. This is an amazing grill with precise temperature control, even heating, brilliant design for the flat / grill areas for vegetables and meat. Very easy to clean and fun to use. Highly recommended!

Only 1300 Wattage, Too Weak for Hotpot
I have other cookwares by this brand, always love them. I really wished I could have kept this one, unfortunately I had to return it – it’s not 1500 W, it’s only 1300, not strong enough for even one person (I tried) , couldn’t keep slightest boiling once a piece of thin meat was dropped in. It’s beautifully built, I am not sure what they were thinking engineering only1300 W.

Awesome electric skillet good for frying and hotpot! I was able to heat up my hotpot within 10-15min to full boil. Be careful about twisting the skillet with the electric stovetop as the stovetop skillet scratches easily. I was able to bring it camping and cabins. When the water boils even with food in the pot does not steam up the room! Overall very happy with my purchase. Only negative thing I can say about it is that it is a bit bigger then I expect.
