Replacement part for my maytag electric dryer. Other webistes offer this heating element for much much more. This element arrived in a nice pacakged box and works great. Easy to install but there are no instructions that come with it. You just need to pull out the old heating element and replace it with this one and then hook what ever wire you had on the old one onto this one. Works great and you really can’t beat the price

Once I figured out how to get the top open on the dryer, replacing this heating element was easy…. its an exact fit… a couple of screws, a couple of wires and BOOM! …. The magic of turning wet clothes into dry clothes!

We’ve ordered from this same part from this company twice. The first element we ordered lasted exactly a year and went out. While we thought the part should have lasted a lot longer, we figured $20 a year to keep our old Maytag working and not have to buy a new one was worth it. So we ordered a second element. We installed it (correctly) and two loads of laundry later we hear a loud pop and find that the dryer had stopped heating. We pulled the new element out and found one of the coils broken. Didn’t even last 24 hours. We contacted the Seller and they would not refund our money saying their policy is not to refund on installed parts. Maybe so, but when you sell junk I would expect better service. We also tried calling the number they tell you to call and that they’ll make anything right. We called twice during normal business hours and no one ever answered the phone or returned our messages. Save your time and money and just go to your local appliance store and buy a genuine part. It’s cheaper in the long run.

Part Fit Perfectly
Exact replacement part. Had to take the drum out of the dryer and remove several parts to get to it. I installed this in a Maytag after 10 years of use. Dryer works perfectly and the wife is happy. I am happy because locally from an appliance parts wharehouse price, I saved 50% on parts cost.Shipping was fast and part was packed well.

Much more reasonably priced option. why spend $89 when you can buy the exact same part for 1/4 the price?
same part as the $89 element sold locally. took all of 6 minutes to install and drier works like new with just a new element and cleaning the inside air passages out. makes even my 20 year old drier work like new.

Mine also lasted for only one year. I wonder how many good reviews didn’t last long either, but they already left the positive review. I did not initially review because I don’t review that often. I would have given high marks because it fit and worked well … until it burned out. Based on reviews that say the vendor does not replace heaters that fail within days or weeks, the vendor obviously knows this and does not mind taking your money. I bought another and I’m back working, but for how long? I guess I’m now “renting” the dryer by replacing the heater every so often.

Hope you receive all of the advertised parts.
Worked fine, sad to say the kit did not included the temp fuse. It only he’d the heater and thermostat in the box. I had to buy the fuse locally to finish the job.

Heater element for Maytag dryer
Easy to install. Works great so far since replaced. Great product for the price which is half the price I purchased a few years from a local appliance shop. Will now have to wait and see how long it lasts.
