The right part dries the clothes on medium heat as expected.
When our dryer failed to heat, I called the local service company. They put in a cheap “85% cadmium” type heating element. It wouldn’t get the clothers dry on medium heat, though the “hot” setting was hot. But “hot” was always too hot in our opinion, and some things need to be run a bit lower than hot allows. I had them come back to fix it and they said the element worked correctly. Well, no, the clothes shouldn’t take 4 hours to dry on medium heat. This element, using the high limit thermostat L250-80F, which does not accompany the heating element, works as expected and the clothes dry as they have for years on medium heat. The coil wire is obviously thicker on the OEM part. The temperature readings behind the drum screen reach 340F on medium with this element. The temperature only reaches 150F with the “cadmium” one. How about that.. Spend a few dollars extra and get the right part.

For dryer who’s timer would run and stayed hot.
Bought it for a Kenmore/Whirlpool 70 Series dryer that was getting SUPER hot. The timer would continuously run and as long as power was supplied, the heating element would stay on. Needless to say, this created a dangerous situation. I had to turn the breaker off when not in use to avoid any unseen issues. I first replaced the timer, then the operating thermostat. It wasn’t until this heating element was installed things went back to normal. Now it works like new. Very simple install, just remove the rear cover and you’re in.

Good genuine part!
I installed this on my mom’s old Kenmore dryer. Previously we had used one of the cheaper versions sold on Amazon, and while it worked fine it only lasted a few years. This is the genuine part, correctly labelled and boxed. It’s an exact fit and seems to work great so far. If it lasts as long as the original part it’s well worth the extra cost. No complaints at all.

Works
After reading the reviews for the cheap knock off heating elements, decided to spend the extra money for this oem part from Whirlpool. Wrote the date on a small piece of tape and stuck it on back panel of dryer. Will see how long it lasts. So far, so good!

Part works great but did not come with the fuse as advertised
So far the part has held up and works just great. Hopefully it is indeed a genuine OEM part but I suppose only time will tell (will update if necessary). The one issue that I’ve had so far was that the description says that this listing come with a replacement fuse but it came without the fuse that is advertised as being included unfortunately. I tried contacting the seller but did not hear back until after I left a 1 star review describing the issue as well. The seller did end up responding to my message after that and rectified the issue by sending the fuse in the mail, all in good faith but unfortunately delaying the much need ASAP repairs by several days more. I’ve seen other reviews that mentioned others having this exact same issue, so please make sure your order includes the fuse as promised and take the same steps as I did if you have the same or a similar experience as I did. No complaints about the parts themselves so far thank goodness. With laundry for 4 in the home our washer runs almost daily, so paying a bit extra than the cheaper off-brand parts for the genuine Whirlpool part will hopefully pay off in the long run. Giving only 4 stars for the troubles and wait time as well as seeing other reviews that have had the same issue as well and still having the exact same issues despite of it.

Our dryer stopped working. Once the rear cover was removed I noticed that the thermal fuse was bad. There was a sticker that suggested to checkthe heating element. Upon removal I noticed it was cracked causing the fuse to blow. I opted for a oem part due to the fact it has lasted for 10 years. This was a simple repair that did not take much time at all. It fit perfectly and the dryer seems to dry the clothes faster.

Very efficient
I purchased and installed this myself. It has worked quite well thus far and seems to work much better than the original element that came with the dryer
