Perfect, quality, cordless vacuum!!!
Wow! I am so happy I purchased this little ruby red beauty! From the moment I took the parts out of the box, the feel was quality! It took a bit to figure out how to get the battery in, but everything else was fairly easy. I think the directions are fairly clear. Once I got it out together and started using it, I was blown away! It is lightweight, easy to push and the light is a cherry on top! Whoever designed and built this thing knew what they were doing and listened to people who actually use vacuums regularly! I love the three speeds and that it is relatively quiet! The swivel action is superb! I also love that it can be used when it is fully extended or retracted, as I was able to sit down and use it in the area directly around me. THEN I was able to switch out and use it as a handvac with the hose and Mosel to get under my couch- while I was sitting on my couch!!! I vacuumed my family room (carpeted) on high, went through the kitchen and dining room (hard floor and rug) and the did one bathroom AND the bathroom fuzzy rug on low- and it vacuumed it nicely without ever try to suck it up!!!I did have to empty the cup after the family room. The cup was completely full of hair and dust and small particles. Two of us have very long hair, so I was happy to see it did this with no problem. You have to take the battery off and twist the cup to get it out. I had a little trouble getting the now empty cup and filter back together, but that was more me not paying close attention to the details- where the notches were and the arrows that are very clear! The other thing it took me awhile to figure out was where the button I needed to ‘push to the left’ is on the bottom to remove the roller to take hair off the roller! I was actually able to just pull the hair off, but I wanted to know how to do this! It would be good if that little button was a different color or had a mark on it of some kind, but once I discovered where it was the roller popped righ out! Now I just have to figure out what that lovely soft roller is for?! Furniture? Hardwood floors? In the end I had done all of this and the battery still had two bars lit up when I plugged it back in to charge! They do say to take it off the charger when it is fully charged to extend the battery life! I am not very handy with screwing things in, so I guess I’ll have to find a you tube video for how to mount the charging station! I am so happy I got this cordless vac!!! Even with a broken ankle in a cast and having to use a knee rollator, this perfect little quality vacuum allowed me to feel in control of my housework again!!! I wrote such an extensive review because it was the extensive reviews that convinced me to snap up this bargain while it was on sale!

It’s been working well for almost a year!
I wanted to wait to do my review to see if this would hold up. There were soooo many vacuum choices out there and it was hard to choose which one I wanted that would do all I needed. I like that the end comes off very easily for spot vacuuming. And when you take the end off, you can pull on the vacuum rod and it extends further for reaching up to higher places like the ceiling. It’s not as easy to manuever as I’d like it to be, but I love the compact size and it can slide under everything so easily! I don’t have any stairs or hardwood floors so I can’t rate that but I do use it on vinyl floors and it’s just fine there. I wish I had a second battery. Using it on high power can drain it pretty fast. At least when I’m cleaning, if I’m using it at full power, the battery is going to die in about 30 minutes I think. And it takes a long time to charge. So if I run it dead, I have to wait a while for it to charge back up. But I solved that problem pretty easily by just not vacuuming at the highest power and it lasts a lot longer now! I love no cord to pull around behind me and get all tangled up in, etc. The filters are super easy to clean too!!! It’s a great little vacuum. And I’m so glad that I bought it!!!

Life changer!
I bought this just to vacuum the floor in the kitchen. Little did I know I’d be using it all over the house – including carpets! So convenient. Although there are a lot of other similar products for similar prices the feature that locked me in on this one was the charging cradle which is wall mountable. I have it hanging in the pantry ready to go when I need it. The directions recommend that you don’t continually charge the battery so I just connected it to a smart plug that only turns on for an hour a day. So far it’s been working great for me. Plenty of power to quickly hit the entire house (~2200 sqft) if needed but I’m mostly just doing the high traffic areas and the battery rarely drops below 1/2 power. Cleaning of the dirt bin is quick and easy. I rinse it out every so often but most of the time I just quickly empty in the trash and knock off the dust. If you don’t think you need a cordless vacuum, or like me you were poisoned by the memories of the old school Dustbusters that lasted about 6 months before the batteries wouldn’t take a charge anymore – give this a try. Hey, if you have the extra cash to spend on a Dyson go for it. My floors are clean for a lot less money with the Whall.
