Handy scanner
The scanner is small and handy. It saves a lot of space on my desk. I use it to scan my kid’s homework and my work document. Easy to use the app on my Mac and no issues with connecting. It comes with light too so does not require a bright environment. Overall it worth the price and meets my expectations.

Nice concept, but…
I really want to love this scanner. It would be amazing if it worked. I scanned 1 document and I was so impressed, but then the second one, it crashed. I rebooted my computer and it crashed again. My husband tried it and got it to scan, then it crashed. I loaded it onto my brand new laptop thinking that my desktop is too old maybe. It crashed. I want to love this scanner, it won’t let me.

I bought it for my 8 years daughter to scan her school notes. It is easy to use and crisp clear ( save is document or pdf) value for money and time

Lackluster curve fitting as well as terrible OCR Make This Document Camera Functionally Unusable
This scanner has major issues with capturing curve fitting and has a completely worthless OCR converter. Despite taking the finger removal algorithm, it does not matter where you hold the page, the fingers are captured. The OCR needs to be chanted from Chinese + English, but even with the pure English scanner, it reads gibberish to ones that other programs trivially convert even if the picture has uncorrected curves. While the camera is good, the software supporting it is substandard.This would probably be ok for a flat file or sheet, but a flat scanner costs less and does more with OCR than this.

This Czur book scanner just didn’t do the job. Software needed to be tweaked to get the scanner to work with my computer and unlike other.Czur Just didn’t do the job. If you are scanning documents or small books, this very well priced scanner would be perfect for you. I need to scan large books such as old Bibles, so it did not work for me.

It didn’t work
I bought it few months ago and just have time to try this week. I downloaded the large driver, about 630mb, then installed. My pc recognized the viisan scanner, but the software didn’t load to operate. Software is big, bloated and slow, unlike other brother or Epson driver.

LOTS OF OPTIONS, CAN SKEW DOCUMENTS, BUT WORKS GENERALLY WELL
Overall, this is a powerhouse of a scanner. Great for books, great for using as an overhead, and lots of options for how and where you configure it without taking up the giant space of a flatbed scanner.Engineering alone is really impressive here. Smart design that allows you to be flexible.One of the first things I scanned was a contract that had minor bends from being atop a pile of papers. Because this doesn’t have a platen/lid, nothing to flatten, which wasn’t a huge issue other than that the contract had bounced back and forth several times and they needed it yesterday.There are several options with the software to use as you’ll need it to use.Image is sharp and you can adjust focus as you need, as well as lighting.Love that it’s super-portable.The OCR function produced some slightly odd output? Still not sure what happened, but it read the document slightly oddly and reconfigured it into some weird fonts and weird replacement letters/numbers in odd places. You might have better luck just scanning into your regular OCR?BUILD AND DESIGN: 5 starsFLEXIBILITY AND PORTABILITY: 5 starsOCR FUNCTIONS: 3 StarsOverall – 4.5 stars, and a good investment!

Die Installation ist einfach. Deutsche Software ist vorhanden. Der Buchscanner ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Die Scanqualität für meinen Bedarf reicht aus. Für diese Preisklasse bin ich mit der Scanergebnisse zufrieden.

Die Software kann man nur in englischer oder chinesischer Sprache herunterladen . Die Anwendung ist dann aber wieder deutsch . Das scannen funktioniert dann ganz normal . Leider sind die scans beim Seitenglätten überhaupt nicht glatt . Es sind auch nach vielen Versuchen immer noch gewölbte Seiten und bei geknickten Seiten ist es absolut kaum zu erkennen .Für einfaches Dokumentenscannen ganz okay , alles weitere ist nicht wirklich gut .
