I purchased this document camera for school. Specifically Western Governors University because it was one of the options on the very specific requirements for external cameras. It is so easy to use, it is plug in and go. Makes that part of the test taking so easy when you don’t have to worry about technology issues. Would recommend to anyone who needs an easy to use and adjust document viewer camera.

We aren’t friends, but it does a great job
I got this for a college that does online proctored exams. It met the requirements and it works perfectly. The base is well weighted so you can bend the gooseneck way back and it remains stable so you can provide proctors with the ridiculous angles they need.Which brings me to the 2 things I don’t like. First, it’s ungainly to pack around. Even when you fold it up it’s pretty large & heavy, so I don’t keep it with me all the time.The other challenge is that I cannot get a clear picture of my ID with it. So I end up taking a picture of the ID with my phone.I think both of those problems are directly related to the fact that it provides a clear and comprehensive view of me and my environment while I test.Set up was quick & easy, you just plug it in & select it. There are buttons on the base for flipping the image which is much quicker than going into settings.I grudgingly give it 5 stars because it works perfectly. I wish it were smaller / less cumbersome, but I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t work nearly as well if it were.

Can’t turn light off so glare
Basic doc camera but I should have opted for 1 with an option to turn the light off and zoom. I use dry erase pouches for notes and can’t with this one
