It’s made with premium quality reinforced lightweight aluminum metal for extra stability. A compact less than 2 pound portable travel easel that collapses down to 18″ for quick storage into the shoulder strapped carrying bag for easy transportation.
A tough sturdy adjustable easel that extends to accommodate panels and canvases up to 36″ in height. It securely holds canvases up to 1.2″ in depth between the self-tightening spring-loaded top clamp. The legs have vertical height adjustable shelf brackets for attaching the 16.5″ wide by 1″ deep adjustable horizontal fixing tray shelf.
Easel height and angle adjustments are quick and easy, as the one-touch flip lock latches allow you to instantly set and lock the telescopic tripod legs at your desired position, and they also make it easy to adjust between floor, standing and tabletop configurations. Compact yet functional easel
Easel is well manufactured, easy to assemble/disassemble and transport.multiple arrangements of legs and ledge allows for great flexibility in displaying various sizes of items.Holds items for display positively with lipped ledge and spring loaded clip on top reducing any worries of item falling of easel even if slightly bumped into.Price is extremely fair for this product. A definite good buy.

Perfect for Watercolor and Sketch Boards
I purchased this easel for my watercolor projects. I purposely went with this company because my heavy duty easel was well made despite what other reviewers were saying. This easel set up very easily and the process was intuitive as was the previous easel. Given the weight of this easel it will be useful in plein-air uses with my watercolor. I would not take it out on windy days or use it for large canvases, or heavy items.The turn screws for the tray are plastic as noted by a previous reviewer but I found they tightened down easily enough to hold the tray in place with just finger pressure. All the legs were fine and the slide adjustment clamps work as expected, The feet do have movement for uneven surfaces but work fine on level surfaces as well.As an artist, I see nothing wrong with the easels I have purchased from US Art Supply and both were delivered as advertised with their carrying cases. They both set up and fold easily, I do use a level that I already had to make sure the tray is level. Both of the top clamps will hold photographs for reference if needed,

Just What I Needed
I purchased this item for upcoming author events at fairs, libraries, museums, and the like. It arrived as scheduled and came with no instructions (as some here have pointed out) but it did come with a bag, contrary to what others have said in their reviews. The easel is lightweight but sturdy enough for my 24″ x 18″ coroplast event poster (pictured). I needed an easel and poster that could withstand varied elements since some of my events will take place outdoors (hence the coroplast) and I believe this easel fits the bill well, though I have yet to try it in the great outdoors. I’ll update this review following a few field tests.Despite the lack of instructions, I was able to use the images on the Amazon product page to make the proper adjustments and attach the metal bar that supports the artwork. Practically every facet of this easel is adjustable, so it can accommodate custom-sized pieces. Would definitely recommend it.___________Update 9/16/2015:After several outdoor tests at author events, a stiff wind would just blow the easel over. After we tied weights to it that solved the problem. But I knocked off a star for the extra effort needed on our part. If you intend to buy this primarily for outdoor use, figure on weighing down with something; otherwise look for a better product. Hope this helps.

Great design, great price!
Very clever design and lowest price I found. It sets up easily by yourself and holds two100 page flip charts bought separately. Comes in storage bag, very compact when collapsed. It is not as sturdy as the heavier designs, but it’s fine in the corner of my Sunday School classroom. Could also be set on a table. Recommended by me, I haven’t been paid to review .

Lightweight, flimsy
I purchased this for a paint by number kits I received and was looking for something cheap that would work for just the one project. It came quickly and was nice and compact. There were no instructions to assemble but it was relatively self explanatory. I have it set up on a wood floor and the legs slide out most of the time when I’m working on the picture. The arm that holds the top of picture in place and the ledge it sits on are pretty flimsy, so I have to hold the actual canvas to keep it steady.

Amazing
Bought the 10 pack, assembly was super easy!!! Had to read other reviews to find out the purpose of the Velcro strap. The strap is for keeping the removable stand from getting lost should you need to disassemble or transport the stand. There are two Velcro tabs to one matching tab, which allows you to set the strap to whatever height position that you hang the metal stand piece. Once I figured this out, it’s perfect!!! Very sturdy, neat and clean looking, which will in turn help my art exhibits look more professional! Easy to adjust, I love that the bottoms of the legs are grippers that swivel to whatever angle the legs are positioned. The grippers stay flat on the floor instead of pegged directly onto the legs. Excellent design and best one for the cost!!! I highly recommend this, as I spent hours researching reviews, prices, and designs of different easels on various sites.

Impossible to work with a whiteboard!! Legs bend out, tilting the whiteboard, etc, etc.
This is the ‘wonkiest’ display easel stand I’ve ever used!! The’ tripod’ has only a short and narrow screw-in stand on which the whiteboard can rest. Over time, on a wooden floor (not a rug), the thin legs began to slide out; one leg actually bent so that the entire unit tilted and then collapsed.The top of the triangular stand is so small that I can’t imagine ANY whiteboard can be written on without almost pushing it off the stand. Either this was never meant to be used with a whiteboard, or it’s not worth purchasing.

Decent lightweight easel for the money
I have a full- sized studio easel, but I wanted something to take out for plein air. At first I got a beautiful full- box French easel, but it weighed 22 lbs. (10kg) and with all of the other gear I carry when we hike, and how big and bulky French easels are (I had to strap it to the outside of my frame pack), it was too much.These little easels are about 1.6 pounds (0.75 kg) each, so that’s a big win. The setup was intuitive, but not like any easel I’ve used before. It is a little awkward to have to remove the mast and take off the lower ledge if one wants to change its location (otherwise the front legs have to come in) and I put the mast on backwards the first time (that comes in handy for panels- you can pinch the ground with the pin on the back and reach all of the field), but otherwise the adjustments are nice. I can’t stand and paint at this easel, but I stand enough at work-I’ll just take a seat when I’m painting.Overall, worth what I paid.

Compré y devolví este soporte porque mi intensión era usarlo para un pizarron que compramos con motivo de las clases remotas. Definitivamente para eso no sirve, el pizarron de 90×120 es demasiado grande y pesado para la estructura, sin embargo el soporte esta super práctico y ligero, viene tan compacto que pensamos que se habrían equivocado, de muy buena calidad en sus materiales y en su hechura. Si quieres pintar y colocar cosas ligeras definitivamente es una excelente opción

Este producto llegó justo a tiempo, sin ningún defecto y de buena calidad. Yo lo he utilizado como un caballete para sostener mis bastidores mientras pinto, funciona muy bien y es ajustable a muchos tamaños, ya sea un bastidor pequeño o grande. Vienen 2 caballetes y por el precio está increíble. Muy buena opción como caballete para pintar o para exponer cartulinas o cosas así.
