Small but full of knowledge!
I ordered this from Christmas money as I am teaching myself Japanese. I already have the phrase book from Tuttle and enjoyed how informative it was so I was fast to get the dictionary. The words are not hard to read if you have good eye sight (but if you require reading glasses they might be small though I don’t have experience with glasses so I wouldn’t be able to say). May I also add this is a true “pocket” dictionary, it’s small enough to fit in your pocket! I was shocked at how small it was but my smallish backpack is always so full so it’s nice for travel. I added a photo comparing it to the Tuttle Japanese phrase book and also a normal sized book. I recommend this dictionary to anyone interested in learning the language!

it was very easy to use and share with my Japanese friends
I referred to this book a few times on my trip to Japan; it was very easy to use and share with my Japanese friends. It’s so compact! Great analog tool that’s super small and easy to tote around in your bag. Strong cover so not too much damage after a month-long trip.

Tiny in size but huge in value.
When they say “pocket size” it’s for real pocket size. This dictionary is very compact but it has everything we need. Take your glasses out! If you can’t read small type this is probrably not for you.

Get a magnifyier while your reading this one.
For me, too small to read the print. Get the regular sized edition, which still has fairly small type. This pocket size isn’t that much smaller and harder to read.

This dictionary is small and the perfect size to fit in your pocket while traveling. It is full of knowledge. The front has Japanese to English and the middle has English to Japanese, it’s super easy to navigate and I can’t wait to travel with it ♡

I really recommend it for people who are looking for a pocket dictionary, which means: a dictionary so small that can enter your pocket.I found this dictionary extremely useful because I was looking exactly for a really small dictionary, a so-called pocket dictionary. If you have problems reading small words (or small Kanji) don’t buy it.

I really like the item. It is small and very useful for the Japanese words that you don’t know.

It is way to difficult to read the print, it is so small. If the book was 2 inches wider and longer perhaps it would be better as the print could be larger.

I was expecting to receive a new book good quality not just on the content but the physical aspect also ,it seems that I had a bad one.
