Perfect for crochet projects
I purchased the handheld steamer to use for my crochet projects and particularly a long scarf made up of multiple square motifs. For the price and my needs, it was perfect. If you were going to use this more extensively, be aware that it is not cordless. You have to plug it in and the cord is not very long which is kind of limiting. Another thing to get used to is that it doesn’t have an on off switch. When you plug it in, the first setting is on and then you adjust the intensity from that first setting. Unless I missed something I didn’t see a way to turn if off without unplugging it. It did come with a nice tray to sit it in and a little tiny pitcher to fill the water compartment. For my purposes, which is occasional use, it is great

Spits water too often
This little machine is fine if you’re looking for portability and ease of use. However for me its steaming functionality is poor. It does heat up and produce steam quickly, but unfortunately spits water often. I’ve tried different heat settings to see if it makes a difference, but it doesn’t. My experience is that it sends out steam nicely for 5 seconds, then spits water drenching whatever I’m pressing, then goes back to steam, then back to water, etc.. I’m not sure how often I’ll use this over my conventional steamer.

Small, But Hot and Steamy
I’m quite impressed with this little steam iron! It heats up really fast too like within 5 seconds and the amount of steam it produces is so powerful!There’s 6 levels you can choose from: Level 1 does not produce steam at all, but for level 6, you could hear and see steam rushing out. The best thing about it is its compact size – you can easily put it into a purse and it’s perfect for travel. Considering the very affordable price, I’d think this is a really good deal!
