I don’t need this for travel but just needed a steamer in general. I have tried & returned so many in the last few months & they all either leak everywhere, overflow boiling water or both. This one actually works great. I don’t use a steamer that often so the compact size is perfect for my needs since it makes for easier storage!

I got this little handheld steamer iron to take along while traveling. I hoped it would be a quick way to steam out wrinkles in our hang up clothes. Instead of having to lug out the hotels ironing board and use their dirty irons. It worked well and was easy to iron on a flat surface or use as a steamer for hang up clothes. The only issue is that the very first time I tried to fill the steamer reservoir tank, it was very difficult to remove it and as a result, the little pull tab on the tank broke off. So now I have to use a screwdriver or something flat to dig the little tank out of place to fill it.

Handy, with some limitations
First of all, I want to make note of the fact that I do not see any UL listing or other safety certifications on this product, so if you purchase it, go into it knowing that it is not backed by an American brand, and there may be some risk involved. Also, there is no indication that it has any automatic shutoff technology, so you’ll have to be sure to unplug it after use.That said, it’s a neat little mini iron/steamer. I picked it up because I have a few tops that need steaming. This is fine for doing maybe one piece of clothing. It’s not even close to adequate if you have multiple garments to steam.It has 3 modes – dry iron, low with steam and high with steam. The high is basically the steamer mode. It heats up quickly, and the steamer works pretty well. But it’s tiny (for travel) and only takes on a small amount of water at a time. Also, the cord is too short to be very useful. Fine for ironing in a hotel room, but if you want to steam a hanging garment, you’re probably going to need an extension cord.Bottom line – it’s a neat little product that I’m glad to have for touch-ups and for travel, but it definitely won’t cut it if you’re looking for a steamer that will be used on a fairly regular basis.

Small size for travel, great for touch ups
This little garment steamer is a definite help to freshen up clothing while traveling. It is small in size and not heavy. Although it doesn’t remove wrinkles to the same level as a full size iron on an ironing board it does a great job relaxing the wrinkles and improving the look of my clothes until I can get back home.
