Cleans off well not quite what I was expecting it a little thinner more like a small canvas with a trim around it. I guess the quality is good it does the trick. I don’t think I would buy it again.

Fiberglass??
When I received this item, it was folded into a small bag. I was expecting silicone. My bad that I didn’t carefully read the item description. This mat is made of fiberglass. I do not like fiberglass as I have a sensitivity/allergy to it. The thickness of the mat may be a concern to many people. If one of the purposes of this mat is to protect the glass top on the stove, I wonder if it would be effective due to it’s thinness. One of my relatives cracked their glass top when they dropped a bowl on the stove. This could lessen the impact, but would it adequately protect it? I’m not willing to perform drop tests on an expensive range to find out. The other deal breaker for me on this mat was its tackiness (no, I’m not talking poor taste but stickiness). It has a sticky feel and when I laid it on the counter top to let it flatten out, I failed to sterilize the count first and found small bits of cereal crumbs adhering to the mat. I tried to wipe them off with a paper towel and left many crumbs and some lint on the mat. I didn’t try to wash it. All in all, it’s a total miss for me.

Funcional, pero se resbala fácilmente
La cubierta es de buen tamaño y se adapta perfectamente a mi estufa eléctrica. Me gusta que proporciona espacio adicional en la cocina y ayuda a mantener la superficie limpia. Además, el material es resistente al calor, lo cual es una gran ventaja. Sin embargo, noté que se resbala con facilidad, por lo que hay que tener cuidado al colocar objetos encima. Aun así, cumple bien su función y es una buena opción para proteger la estufa.

Disappointing
I expected a silicone rubber mat, but what I received was more like a thin coated piece of fabric. I don’t think this would protect the glass top beneath it from anything being dropped onto it. I suppose it would help keep dust or grime off the stove top, but pretty much anything else could do the same. Maybe my hopes were a little too high for this product, but unfortunately I will not be using this flimsy cover in my kitchen.
