Stereo Audio Amplifier, 300W Home 2 Channel Wirele

Nothing special but it works.
The first thing is this receiver is small and simple. It has the foot print of a piece of paper. This means it can be placed almost anywhere. The simplicity means you can intuitively connect and use the receiver. You don’t have fifteen different things to plug in or buttons to push to make things work. I am using it for a couple speakers in my shop and for that it works. The down sides I have found is the antenna is too short for good FM reception, so I extended it with a piece of wire. The other is the Blue Tooth is half the volume of the radio and the volume has to be cranked up.

Sweet audio amplifier system!
I have both the “300W” and “450W” versions of these. They’re both excellent, but there’s some power supply issues that the 450W version fixes that are present in the 300w version. The higher end version is well worth the additional $10. Not only do you get more features (Optical and coaxial S/PDIF input), but you get a better power supply and less noise/static in the audio. The small one I have is listed as a model BT-298A and the large one is listed as a BT-398A.One key thing to note is that those power ratings are EXTREMELY overstated. The maximum power draw from any printed figures I can see from this is 60 watts total based on the 12v input drawing up to 5 amps (on both versions, nonetheless), so with the internal electronics, I’m going to guess its around 25 watts per channel for audio. This is still PLENTY of power for loud music, unless you’re trying to fill an entire stadium or concert arena. I did not measure the actual power draw.Hookup and use is very straightforward, there’s nothing super complicated with it. Audio quality is EXCELLENT for the price of the unit, and the feature set is great too.I suppose my biggest gripe that applies to both of them is the way that power and volume controls are handled. The power on/off functionality is duplicated between the rear AC power switch, and the remote control. The same issue applies to the volume between the physical knob and the remote. The controls are independent and separate from one another. This kinda defeats the whole purpose of the remote in the first place, but given the price to performance ratio of these, its easy enough to look over.Regarding the power supply issues, there’s one very minor annoyance on the higher power one, and that is that the power cord isn’t removable for when you want to run it off the 12v input on the back. On the bright side, that’s not really needed, unless you want to run it portable somewhere. The power supply built into the bigger one is a proper transformer, not a cheap and noisy switch mode power supply. The smaller one has a major problem with ground loops between the Bluetooth board and the rest of the circuitry in addition to using an RF noisy switching power supply. To alleviate some of those issues I installed some audio isolation transformers and a DC-DC power isolation module, but now that I have the larger one as well I can say, just spend the extra to get that one.In the end, at $46, the BT-398A is an absolutely amazing audio amplifier for the price! The BT-298A has several flaws that make the extra money of the bigger one well worth the cost difference, though it is far for what I would call bad or terrible if you are comfortable with some soldering modifications.

Very impressive for the price.
I was surprised by the sound quality and lack of background buzz coming from this unit. Connected it to a pair of Bose bookshelf passive speakers and it sounded clear, good highs, good lows. When I hit pause on a song I was playing through the SD card, I couldn’t hear any background interference at all……totally quiet. Next, I tested it through the bluetooth connection with my phone and played some music and it sounded great as well, considering bluetooth audio is never as good as hard wired. Still very good though. The FM radio works fairly well at picking up stations, but you would probably want to connect an extended antenna to it to really get great signal strength. I have it in my basement just using the built in telescopic antenna and it picked up some stations from Chicago, 45 miles away with only some static on a few stations.This will not replace your home system, but it sounds very good for this price point and would be great for a bedroom, garage, patio or other outdoor uses. Just don’t get it wet outside in the rain……it’s not waterproof. It’s amazing to me that something at this price could have such good sound quality. No complaints here.

Nach 2 gekauften preiswerten Geräten habe ich endlich ein gutes bekommen, vom Preis her unschlagbar. Ich habe relativ einfache Lautsprecher von MC Grey. Der Klang ist für meine Zwecke sehr gut. Bluetooth verbindet sich mit Alexa Echo Show vollkommen problemlos,ebenso mit meiner LG Sound år bzw Smartphone. Musik mit Stick oder Speichercard kein Problem. Selbst UKW Empfang ist vorhanden. Kurz die Scan Taste drücken und 35 Sender wurden an meinen Wohnort gespeichert. Bass und Höhenregler arbeiten gut. Selbst ein vollwertiger Ein/aus Schalter ist vorhanden. Eine Fernbedienung ist ebenfalls beigefügt. Keine wackeligen Knöpfe, alles gefällt mir. Und das alles zu diesem erstaunlichen Preis.
