Sennheiser fan for life. These do not disappoint
I’ve been into Sennheisers for 25 years. I’ve owned the HD590 (Discontinued), 598C, and 559.The 599’s are quite nice sounding. Very clear, warm, and comfortable. A nice upgrade from the 559, which are also nice.Sennheiser forever <3

Great item
I’ve always loved using Sennheiser headphones. However, this one is a bit different than the ones I’ve used. Sound is not the same as the game, less bass, and not very good for an FPS games. The closed back headphones are much better.

Works For Me
I got these for my son to use when playing a digital piano so that he could hear when his name is called and not talk too loudly because of not being able to hear his own voice. I tried them myself and found them more comfortable than the ones I had been using, presumably because of the open-ear design. I’m not an audiophile but they sound good to me and I’m happy with the purchase.

So part of the poor rating is self-inflicted, I had never tried open back headphones before. Now that i’ve tried them, why on earth would you ever want to wear these. The big benefits are 2 things, they are light and they are comfortable. But being able to hear everything else in happening around you while you wear them? crazy. The smaller 3.5mm cord it came with was incredibly short. it felt weird to wear these.

These headphones are the most confortable I have ever had!!
These are soft on my ears and allow me to hear background noise – softly but there so I can tune it out. This fits a larger head size – 23″ head. Highest recommendation!! Great fidelity

La cuffia è ben costruita. Il materiale è di prima qualità. La parte superiore dell’archetto è soffice e comodo; in tal modo la cuffia finisce per non pesare oltremodo sul capo (in modo fastidioso).I padiglioni sono larghi e comodi. La cuffia si indossa benissimo e non risulta pesante anche dopo lunghi ascolti. La qualità dell’audio è eccellente. Il suono è equilibrato e rilassato secondo la tipica accordatura Sennhaiser. Devo dire che sin da ragazzo ho apprezzato il suono morbido e caldo delle cuffie a marchio Sennhaiser; per me è un marchio di livello assoluto. La cuffia suona bene e vi è un buon equilibrio tra le diverse frequenze. I bassi sono presenti nella giusta misura e in modo equilibrato. I medio/alti sono sublimi e gli alti cristallini senza tuttavia essere brillanti e/o fastidiosi. Il bilanciamento tra i canali è perfetto. Insomma il tipico suono Sennhaiser che ha incantato il mondo. Consigliatissimo. Rapporto qualità prezzo stellare. Bravi gli ingegneri Sennhaiser.

I brought these headphones about a month ago and decided not to review them until I’d spent at least 10 or so hrs using them, listening to a range of music ,rock, pop, jazz but mainly classical. So far I’ve found them very comfortable even when I’ve used them for listening sessions over 3 hrs or so. The sound is nicely balanced thru the frequencies and the sound is spread over the wide ‘sound field’.They are a bit big and bulky (but light in weight), Also they don’t fold and allow a lot of sound escape. So they’re the not ideal for travelling but better suited for home use. The construction of the phones are mostly plastic but they well built and robust. These headphones are the best phones I’ve ever owned (so far) and considering what I paid for them (about £70). THEY ARE A STEAL.Foot note.Allow a few hrs of listening through these head phones to allow your hearing and brain to get used to the sound they make and also for the transducers to ‘bed in’ and loosen up a bit. The sound really do’s seem to improve and get smoother as you them. To my ears anyway.-

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Kopfhörer, den ich während der Arbeiten an meinem PC benötige. Nachdem ich bereits mit einem Kopfhörer von Sennheiser in der Vergangenheit beste Erfahrungen gemacht hatte, fiel meine Wahl wieder auf diese Firma und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht.Der Sennheiser HD 599 Special Edition ist sehr gut verarbeitet, hat einen ausgezeichneten Klang, einen angenehmen Tragecomfort und ist nicht zu schwer.Bereits seit vielen Jahren habe ich einen weiteren Kopfhörer von Sennheiser, der immer noch tadellos funktioniert und ebenfalls einen tollen Klang hat. Diesen benutze ich für das Hören von Musik mit der Kompaktanlage in meinem Wohnzimmer.Allerdings habe ich ihn nie einer zu großen Lautstärke ausgesetzt, um ihn nicht zu beschädigen und natürlich, um einen Hörschaden meiner Person zu vermeiden. Von zu lauter Musik wird ja bei einem Kopfhörer auch dringend abgeraten.Mein Fazit lautet: Kopfhörer der Marke Sennheiser kann man immer noch sehr empfehlen!
