We all hate printers. This book documents why.
Maybe it’s the behemoth copier at work. Or the one you use to print boarding passes at home. Or maybe it’s the one that haunts your nightmares to this day, the one that never seemed to work, not since the first day you plugged it in. We all have a printer in our lives that we would love to see taken down a notch.
From the first consumer inkjet to more modern monstrosities, Sh*tty Printers breaks down the worst offenders of our home offices. Featuring popular and exasperating home staples such as:
• The HP Thinkjet 2225A
• The Lexmark Z22
• The long forgotten Canon BJC-85
• and many more
Each printer is beautifully photographed and ruthlessly torn to shreds as their individual strengths, weaknesses, and charisma are scored on sliding scales born from relatable frustration.
From the Publisher
In a time of widespread division, this book unites us with one thing we all have in common: our shared hatred of sh*tty printers.
Featuring classics like the HP Thinkjet 2225A and Canon BJC-85, Sh*tty Printers is a hilarious throwback for fans of ‘90s and early 2000s nostalgia.
Need a gift for the office party? This book is the perfect gag gift for computer programmers, tech nerds, or anyone who just really hates bad printers.

Cute gift for an office person **language warning**
Bought as a gift and very humorous but was surprised there is some language used in it. Still a great gift if that is not an issue.

An ode to printing
As an IT person, I often have to deal with printers to my own disdain. That scene from Office Space where they destroy the printer gets me every time. This book covers some of the worst printers in history in a comical way. Perfect gift for that IT person in your life!

Great book, wish there was more!
Very funny and sassy writing style from the author. Perfect balance of snark and disdain, while keeping the attention of the reader.

Light on info
It was a bit disappointing. I wish it actually went into detail on why each printer sucked. It was all pretty generic and short descriptions. I get that it’s a comedy book, but without any actual details on the printers, there’s no compelling reason to ever pick up the book again after spending the 5 minutes it takes to the read the whole thing.

A thin, small book almost specifically written for those that grew up & used computers in the 80’s & 90’s. There is not a lot of text, but the pictures are glorious and definitely poke at the nostalgic [and irritated] parts of our memories.
