Works well upon delivery
It gets hot fast. It has good burst of steam and spray. It is heavy so it irons better without me having to push down hard. It’s attractive looking. No leaks upon first use. The steel plate is smoothe and glides over fabric nicelyToo early to tell how it will perform in the long run. What I didn’t like, was that they sent in in the on position, the hottest setting too. Stupid me, i didnt check it because no one leaves an iron on. So I got it out of the box, plugged it in and began to fill the water reservoir. I grabbed the iron to tilt it into position and burned my fingers badly. Who would’ve thought? I haven’t used it enough yet to observe the auto shut off.

A good iron but…
I have always wanted to purchase a Riwenta iron. I wanted to see if it is as good as the hype around it. It is a good iron, but when I press the steam button more than steam comes out. Actual water comes out and I end up with wet spots on my clothes. Going to work with wet spots on my clothes is not cute, Or damp spots clothes is not cute.

Difficult/impractical design for no reason
Super frustrated with how this is designed. The hole to put water in is tiny, so I end up spilling water all over the place. Plus the iron has to be placed on its side to fill despite the max fill line only being visible when it’s placed upright, so you have to constantly switch orientations to see if the water is at the max. And the water tank is almost completely opaque, so you can barely, barely see the water line. It’s impossible to know if you’ve gone too far, so it’s best to way under fill so you can be sure it’s not overflowing.These may seem minor but just why make it this backwards??? The water tank part especially bothers me. Just make the plastic more transparent. The orange is terrible. This is just an iron. This should not be complicated. There isn’t much I need to do with an iron. Filling it with water is half of the process. Why is it so hard to find a basic functional device???

Not the quality I remember.
I had an older model Rowenta in the past. Decided to get this one as a replacement since the old one accidentally fell. It leaks water when I’m using it and it’s hard to pour water into the chamber. My old one came with a small cup that you could use to pour water in safely, this did not come with that and it’s hard to fill it without getting water all over. What happened, your company had better products in the past.

This iron glides easily across any surface. The heat levels are quick in response to adjustment. Comfortable to lift and use.

Realmente ahora planchar es más rápido y en algunas prendas no es necesario dar la vuelta por la potencia de vapor, eso si, se consume rápido el agua del depósito. No tengo quejas buen precio y excelente producto.

Bought this as a replacement for an older Philips Iron that was purchased many years back. The pump for the steam and spray stopped working so it was due for an upgrade. This neat iron has many steam holes on it and pointed under plate which make it super easy to use. The functions are simple and easy to use. No issues so far with this iron and it works perfectly for basic ironing. I do wish that the water compartment was bigger or didn’t run out as quickly but that could be something I am doing wrong. Otherwise for the price point you cannot go wrong with this!

So this is a nice looking iron this particular iron I feel should not be sold in the UK it’s only 120 volt ( 240v Uk ) with the two core wire unlike the UK which is 3 core one being an earth with a three-pin plug not a two pin plug as this iron has. if somone changed the plug to a uk it would more tha likey fry the iron may even catch fire. it doesn’t tell you anywhere on the description that this is for the us market only should not be used in the UK. i am in contact with Rowenta to find out more and if the iron could be used in the uk < I believe that the answer is going to be no I will have to send this back so disappointed
