Love it
You will have to install the handle on the lid. I plugged my skillet into my Bluetti power supply to try it out. I put some cooking oil in the pan and meat was sizzling in a few minutes. I believe the trick is to cook thin pieces of meat so it cooks faster and done. I don’t think it would do a good job on a thick steak but should have no trouble with stir-fry cuts of meat. It will do the job it is designed to do but you can’t overload the pan or rush the cooking time. Good for RV, tiny home and off grid small meal cooking. I plan to use RVing, camping and power outages. I would buy again.

VERY USEFUL – AND CAN EVEN BE INPROVED
The cooking temperature and efficiency can be improved by fashioning a sack made of thermo-insulating cloth and putting the pan (lid on) inside to cook the food. Without doing this, cooking time is fairly long and I’m not sure it gets hot enough to kill all the bacteria in meat.This is a nice aluminum fry pan suitable for cooking one person’s meal at a time – yes, as you drive along the road or using a 12volt battery in your camper, etc.. The power cord is plenty long, and the lid fits nicely. the fry pan is quite useful, even if you don’t use the idea of thermo-insulating cloth.

Very surprised did not expect it to work as good as it doseI am not frying bacon and eggs or steak but i do reheat left overs for my lunch and some time use to heat up cand foods like pork and beansI bring foil and use to line pan when using to reduce or eliminate clean up and in about 10 min it will heat a can of chicken noodle soopSticker list unit at 12v 13amp 155w and it will just barley hold 2 cans of chicken noodle soup with out adding waterOr a larg can of chunky beef stewThe pan is all aluminum and the cord is like 4 feet long .It is smaller than it looks in pics but for a on the road get it done pan it works and easy to stow away

Good value for your money
I use mine almost daily. I wish it had a high and low setting though. I open a can of chunky soup and pour it in.. put the lid on it. Stir it around about 10 minutes.. then 10 minutes later.. It’s plenty hot enough to let it cool down some, then eat. I tried to get it to boil some water but only got the tiniest little bubbles. That took about 25 minutes.. and NOT good to cook an egg in it. It will cook one, but it gets rubbery and tough, then it’s barely edible. I power it with my EcoFlow Delta..

nice pan but a little small
i brought this pan to have a healthy meal when im on the road. first impression the pan is only able to hold one hamburger or two eggs at a time. it takes a while to heat up but when it does it actually cooks fairly well. i had to make four hamburger paties and it took a while due to its size but they where tasty. bottom line is if you dont mind it being small this panis definately worth a try. so far i like mine.

I ran this pan off my deep cycle battery to scramble 2 eggs. Plugged it into my cigarette lighter with the vehicle off. It took approx 9 mins to cook them and drained my battery .1 of a volt. Will test it with meat and see how it does and report back. Perfect size to cook for 1 person.Edit: cooked rib eye steak slices, slices half inch thick. Took 8 mins 57 seconds to be cook through, less time if you want it rare.Cord gets warm. It is what it is, if you adjust how you cook meat and slice it into strips or cube it, it should cook in under 9 mins. Its 180w pan, you cant expect a miracle.

Meh, Falls apart often for no reason.
It’s “ok”, The issues I have with this, yes, it does warm up to rather hot and cooks food really well. But the screws on the INSIDE that hold the heat wires down for whatever reason keep coming lose or falling off. I use this in my mini RV camper, thought it would be easier to use than a camp stove with my Solar Panel set up. But I was wrong, Its annoying. It takes a while to heat up as most electric does, no big deal. But when I reach in the cabinets to grab it and it falls apart for the THIRD time, Im ready to throw it away. To fix it you have to unscrew the bottom all the way to reach the bolts that come lose inside. Reattach them from around the wires, which is annoying, then try cramming it all back together.It’s also very hard to clean. I often outline it with foil, but even the foil does not save it fully. I got to the point i used mini pie cups or would set a can of soup in it, while in the can, and just let it heat up that way.Over all, for camping I would suggest a time Sterno folding Stove and a Green heat Can and skillet. For Cooking where you just can’t sit out, on your tailgate or in your car, I suppose this will do. I mean, it does cook things when it’s not falling apart.

Omg! It’s only big enough to fry a small egg in it. It’s my own fault, I should have read the dimensions but the picture looks like a normal size pan so I just went a head and ordered it. Can’t even get a can of chunky soup in it!! Not a good deal at all.
