Retro Game Console for Sega Genesis Mega Drive Gam

It plays most of my games but not all.
I like this unit. Was hoping to play all of my games from my collection but not all worked like others have said. Out of 25 games from my collection 19 worked and six did not. One of the games that did not work was the 112 multi cartridge, and the other 5 was bram stokers Dracula, castlevania 4, dune the battle for arakis, captain America and the avengers. Dungeons and dragons works but won’t let me to save. It crashed too on me in the part of a game. This is a fifth one then.Now the good news is the 19 games it did play only listing some was like xmen, Spider-Man, Batman, ghouls and ghosts, blade of vengeance, stargate, Indiana jones and the last crusade, shadowrun, the return of Superman, Rambo 3 and others.

Ok for the price
There really aren’t a lot of options for this type of device right now. Short of buying an original Sega nomad, this is pretty much it. However, I’m still holding out hope that Hyperkin will eventually release one.I am a retro game collector, so I have a bit if experience and knowledge about these things. I played with this handheld device for a few hours and have come up with some pros and cons.First the pros:-With the 40% off coupon, the price was exceptional.-The sound is loud and crisp-usb-c charging port-The 16 bit graphics look phenomenal on the screen-the screen has great color and brightness-the device is simple to use and a good size-the battery life seems to be acceptable, I’ve played for a few hours and it still has plenty of juiceNow for the bad:-the cartridge port has a bit of a death grip on the game carts-there is no 3.5mm Jack for headphones-there is no adjustment for screen brightness-clock speed seems too fast on some games-the sound is tinnie-The d pad is rather stiffAnd the worst part of the device:It is not compatible with all original Genesis/MD carts. In fact, only about half of the games I tried would load successfully, and two of those would freeze at some point during gameplay. At first I thought it was defective since the first 4 games I tried wouldn’t work.Overall, it’s an ok device for the price until something better comes out. If it had a better emulator with more compatibility and a headphone jack it would be a huge improvement. I know it’s a new item tho, so I’m hopeful that later versions will improve. I have no opinion on the preloaded games. They are pretty run-of-the-mill off brand games.

Compact and fun
Really easy to use and carry around. Fun for all ages. Screen is nice and bright. Happy with the purchase.

Just what I needed!!
This game console is just right for my 6 yr old son. He likes that he can play his game just like his big brother that has a game console (Nintendo Switch) too. My older son plays it too and like the different games it has to play. It’s a good game for rides to the store so my son will stay occupied and not get bored. Very good quality too.

内蔵のNESソフトは興味ないので触れません。ソフトウェアエミュ機なのはまぁ見ればわかるので理解して購入しました。それこそ10年以上昔だとFirecoreというBGMの音程が滅茶苦茶なMDエミュ互換機もあったのですが、この製品は動画を観た感じだと音程は問題ないと判断。Androidベースでもないので遅延も大丈夫だろうと思い購入。確かに遅延と音程は大丈夫だったのですがレビュー動画で伝わらない部分に問題がありました。コマ落ちするのです。60fpsで動作しないのでメガドライブ特有のゲームスピードが速い作品だとゲームになりません。コロンバスサークルさんのハードウェアエミュ互換機である16ビットポケットMDHDでも30fpsで動作するという謎仕様がありましたがこちらは体感でそれ以上にカクついている印象。キャラが大きくてスクロールスピードが速いゲームだとロクにキャラや敵弾を判別できずゲームにならないため、シューティングはまず無理だと思っていただいて結構です。またソフトウェアエミュ互換機ですがステートセーブもないため、ストラテジーゲームなどをしたければレトロフリークやsega genesis flashbackを買ったほうがいいというあまりにも片手落ちなハードになっています。液晶はバックライトが均一でなくて汚いしスピーカーはダイソーの300円スピーカーより悪いしとハードウェア的に良いところはありません。付属の12in1カートリッジにはストリートレーサーやスペースファンキーB.O.B.が入っているのでそこを加味すると星2に出来ますが、本体単品には星1しかつけられません。正直1すらつけたくないですが。携帯出来るメガドライブ本体が目当てならマジでコロンバスサークルさんに16ビットポケットMDプラスを買ってください。
