Easy installation with color installation manual and presorted hardware. Compatible with 1.5-inch NPT threaded pipe and suitable for mounting to round, square, or rectangular trusses up to 3″ wide and 3.5″ high. Very nice truss mount for projectors!
I received the QualGear truss mounting kit and my first impressions were that it is very well constructed and sturdy. It is made to mount to any truss and fits most projectors on the market. Since my projectors are mounted over people, I want to make sure that the projectors are secure and there isn’t any chance they will come crashing down on someone. At first I thought the price was a little high, but after researching other truss mounts, I found that this one is actually priced lower. I highly suggest this mount if you are using a truss.

This worked awesome for me. Used it to mount my optoma projector to a 2×4 truss in my golf shack!! Very very sturdy and well made. Didn’t take long to mount. Extremely happy with this choice

It did the job but an obviously used product
I was disappointed that this unit was used and not stated as such. I tried reaching the seller with no response. The pictures show the bag of hardware was opened and even though the previous “owner” use a zip lock bag, some screws were rolling around in the box.I still made use of the mount as I was under time constraints to finish the job. The clamp and mounting plate is very sturdy but the little ‘L’ brackets that mount to the projector seems underwhelming, I felt these could be a bit more robust, I held my breath a bit when I first let go of the projector once rigged. I had a sigh of relief when it held.I was flying a Panasonic PT series projector that weighed in at 40LBS, should be well within the rating of the mount, perhaps a lighter weight projector would be best.I do not plan on purchasing this again.

Seem Like Decent Product / Bad Vendor
Seems sturdy. Item was open box, used, and missing components. This will add unnecessary time and frustration to my build. Off to the hardware store to see if I can make the product whole. I don’t appreciate a vendor pushing off used products as new – at least sell it as open box or used so that I am prepared for these sort of issues – shame on you!

Incredible value coming from an AV company owner
Owner of custom AV company and have access to virtually any brand mounts. These are some of the best I’ve ever installed. Top notch build quality. Easy to adjust. Excellent value. Our dealer cost from another name brand manufacturer is twice my dealer cost and retail is 4 x’s as much.

Perfect Projector Mounting KIT for Truss.
We are a Pro-Audio and Mobile DJ entertainment company here in Northern California since years now; as we were looking for an unique tool to attach our existing projector to our trussing system so that we can do back projection during live show and we came across this ultimate solution from QualGear. The Pro-AV QG-KIT-TA is just the tool we were looking for, every little piece inside of the box was perfectly packaged and self explanatory, we could assemble the whole console in about 5 mins and our existing EPSON projector was just a fit like its made for it. This piece of tool is what exactly you need to mount your projector on truss and it is truly an universal mounting bracket.. it fits all three different type of our projectors. So, if you are looking for mounting bracket for your projector that you wanna hang it from your truss.. this is the tool you need.
