Works Great!
Best electric skillet I have ever owned! Big size. Sturdy but not heavy. Easy cleaning. Even heat distribution. No oil puddling in the middle of skillet like others I’ve owned. Love the poor spout. Easily breaks down to smaller size for storing. Fries/browns food very well. Highly recommend.

This is a great kitchen appliance
This is a great kitchen appliance, one that I have been missing for a while since my last one (not this brand/model) was destroyed by my ex-wife (hint to the reader or spouses thereof – don’t leave these things sitting overnight soaking in water. It’s really not good for the skillet or the marriage). This was the first thing I bought after our divorce – okay, just kidding, we didn’t divorce, but she did destroy it that way, and the instructions tell you not to do that. Wait until it is cool, then gently clean with soap and water – I was very guilty with our last one of not waiting until it was cool. I know this isn’t supposed to be an instructional review on cleaning, but this is key to the skillet actually lasting a long time. People often kill their skillets by cleaning them incorrectly, or using metal utensils on the surface. Read the instructions.Functionally, it is great. I like that it can fold into a small space, but I agree with other reviewers that putting the handles inside of the base is asking for a scraped-up surface. I put a dishcloth between the two for a while (and cautioned the wife to do the same), but have now given up on storing it folded up – dishcloths aren’t always handy. Seems to heat pretty evenly to me, and the pour spout is definitely helpful since it doesn’t drip back on itself down the side when you use it. I haven’t noticed a catastrophic loss of heat through the drain spout, but I am not trying to use it as a steamer. I find it nice to be able to remove the top without having a killer puff of steam lounging at you, followed by splattering oil as the water from the top drips down into the skillet. There is still some buildup, but the spout helps reduce that.Looks nice, large cooking area (great for my big family), easy to clean – it’s a winner. I’ve had to use the cast iron skillet since the last electric skillet broke, and this is infinitely easier to cook with (to me – others may disagree and say I just need to learn how to use a cast iron skillet). It was a long, rough road without it, but she’s back now along with the joy of cooking. 🙂

Best Electric Skillet EVER!
I use an electric skillet almost daily, instead of cooking on my stove top. It’s just cleaner and easier that making a mess in skillets or pans, having to clean the stove and surrounding counter tops, pan, etc. Any way, I’ve been through several electric skillets in the last 20 years. Assorted brands and sizes. Here is what I LOVE about this one.1. Cooks very evenly. That said, there is absolutely a ring that gets hotter directly over the heating element that you will notice when making sauces or gravy, etc. But it does heat much more consistently throughout the pan basin than others I have used.2. SUPER easy to clean. Just unsnap the base and the whole skillet goes into the dishwater.3. Has a pour spout on one side. You can rest a spoon there also. FAB!4. Nice and deep. Holds a large capacity of whatever you are preparing. You can cook several different things at the same time.5. The base folds up and stores inside the pan. Put in the power cord, flip the lid upside down and it does not take up much cabinet space at all.I have had this for about 6 weeks and have used it at least 30 times. So far, so fantastic.

Works great and easy to clean
Since this product had mixed reviews I wanted to wait and bit before doing mine. I’ve had it for almost a year now and am very pleased with it. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly and the detachable stand is a game changer for cleanup. No more worrying if you got all the stuff stuck between the handles and pan.

Great skillet
It’s a great size skillet. Heats up quickly. Cleaning skillet is a breeze. I love it. The only fault I can find is that the side handles are a bit flimsy, so if you’re constantly folding it for easy storage you’ll want to be careful. I have a storage area for it so I don’t have to fold it down after each use, so for me that’s not a problem. If you are someone that likes a large skillet for quick meals, french toast, grilled cheese, etc., you’ll love this skillet.

Great Fryer
We make a lot of things on a frying pan, from breakfast to dinners. We usually use a variety of pans from cast iron to a non-stick pan/skillet. I was trying to make life easier on my wife and all of us, but giving her more cooking options and a larger cooking surface, so I decided to try an electric skillet. I had one a long time ago, but I just stopped using one. There’s many of options, and while I’m not opposed to spending money on a quality of products, mostly all of them, even the more expensive options received negative reviews and those reviews were mostly centered around hot and cold spots on the cooking surface, and the thermostats turning off the heating elements when they reach their desired temps. Which, I’m quite certain that’s what they’re supposed to do, but anyway….After reading many customer reviews and product reviews by “experts” and rating companies, I decided on this product. I must say, that it has not disappointed us. We use it almost daily, sometimes twice a day. We’ve used it for almost a year for just about everything that you’d throw in a frying pan. This product works great. Zero complaints. It cooks the food fast and evenly. If there’s a cold spot or a hot spot, we haven found it yet! The temp seems accurate, consistent, and evenly dispersed. It cleans up nicely, and so far the non-stick surface has yet to become worn. It stores away fairly nicely as well. I would definitely recommend this product, even over the more expensive options.
