Good affordable clicker
This is a good and simple clicker. It comes with a laptop adapter that fits both USB and USB-C, so it should work with just about any computer. I got these for use with power point presentations, so I can stand and area the group without being tied to my computer.

Not fully compatible with Google Slides
This is a nicely made, well designed, product. It consists of a remote control that transmits to a receiver that has both USB A and USB C connectors and identifies as a standard USB keyboard when plugged into a device. Pressing buttons on the remote causes the receiver to send keystrokes to the attached device.This gives it wide hardware compatibility. When not in use, the receiver slips into a slot in the transmitter and is securely held there by a magnet. I like the fact that the transmitter takes 2 AAA batteries instead of having a built in battery that can’t be replaced and will fail in a few years. The transmitter has 5 buttons and a power switch. If you turn on the power switch and leave it on without any buttons depressed, the unit only takes 25uA so the batteries will last about 4 years even if you never turn it off. The switch allows you to preserve battery life when storing the unit somewhere, like a pocket or briefcase, where the buttons might be pressed for long periods when not in use. One of the buttons turns on the red laser when pressed and turns off the laser when released. The laser is red and bright enough for use in a conference room when shining on a wall or projector screen. It’s probably not bright enough to be easily seen in a larger venue and, as the description says, it is not very visible when pointed at an LCD monitor. There are two arrow buttons that are designed to go to the next or previous slide when briefly pressed, or to increase or decrease audio volume when pressed and held. The keystrokes generated for slide navigation are “page up” and “page down” by default but can be changed to either “up arrow” and “down arrow” or “left arrow” and “right arrow” by pressing both buttons at the same time and holding them for two seconds. The lower right button generates a “b” key which, in PowerPoint, toggles the screen between all black and normal. Repeatedly pressing the bottom left button alternates between two different sets of keys: “esc” and “shift-F5” followed by “Win+Alt+p”. In PowerPoint, “shift-F5” switches the screen to presentation mode and “esc” exits presentation mode. “Win+Alt+p” is ignored by PowerPoint. Unfortunately, Google Slides uses “ctl+F5” to switch to presentation mode so this key doesn’t do anything useful when you’re using Google Slides. Overall, I recommend this device if it provides sufficient functionality with the software you intend to use.

Excellent Presentation Tool
I use this for class when I want to draw my professor’s attention to something so I don’t have to walk to the board or screen. It saves time. It feels very ergonomic in my hand and does not feel as if it will slip out. The buttons are easy to manage. The laser is red in color. I have tried it from a distance of about 50 ft and I was impressed. I definitely recommend especially for presentations.

Great presentation clicker
This presentation clicker is really nice – in fact it looks almost identical to my old Logitech clicker, with the major difference being that it now comes with a dual USB-A/USB-C dongle to connect with your PC. The dongle slides into a storage compartment on the bottom of the clicker, and is held in place magnetically. It functions as you would expect, includes a laser pointer, and the important on-off switch on the side to prevent you from wearing out the batteries. It takes 2 AAA batteries which were not included – that’s a positive and negative in that it’s easy to find and replace the batteries, but a rechargeable device would be less likely to let you down when you need it since you don’t have to ensure you have spare batteries. It’s comfortable in the hand, connects quickly, and is easy to use. It makes presenting to a larger room easier to not have to continually walk back to your PC to advance to the next slide. Very useful.

Simple goes a long way
This is a no-frills presentation clicker. It comes with a USB dongle at the bottom that attaches through a standard USB or USB-C port, which is helpful since a lot of new computers only come with USB-C ports now. Be advised that it does not come with batteries, and it takes two triple-A batteries. I tested this out on a PC computer, so the reaction time was quite quick. I’ve read that there’s a slower response time with Apple, so I will update this review after testing on an Apple computer, but I like that this is simple, with two buttons that clearly show “forward/back,” and a button to end the presentation. For the laser pointer, you do have to keep your finger on the button to keep it on, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. For the price, I think the size and functionality is worth it.

amazing pointer!
I like this pointer! First of all, it connects super fast to my macbook. On a personal side, I was using this pointer for one of my interview and that went well. I was able to use the laser pointer for highlighting. Would recommend this pointer for anyone who would use is for presentation.
