A very good smoothie maker
This is my review and experience of the MIXIDO Portable Smoothie Blender, Personal Size Mini Small Protein Shake Blender for smoothies, 34oz Cordless & BPA Free with Leakproof Lanyard Sip Lid (Purple). The box consisted of a detachable handle, the main unit with stainless steel blades, lid, large juice cup, a cleaning brush, USB A to USB C 20-inch charging cable, a recipe page and a user manual.What liked about it…Not as noisy as I was expecting from a small unit/motorBPA Free juice cupWhile recharging. the lid has a steady red LED light, when fully charges, the lid has a white LED that lights up, when the red light begins to flash, it needs to be rechargedVery large cup, a bit over a quart at 34 ouncesEasy to use, flip over so the lid is on the bottom and double click the power button to power onWhat I did not like about it…Did anyone else have a difficult time removing the recipe page from within the juice cup?The motor is not as strong as it looked on the video where it shows an orange being blended but who does that?Conclusion…With high expectations, I started using this portable smoothie blender multiple times since receiving it a bit over three weeks ago. Believe it when the manual states to use tiny pieces of frozen fruit; I tried larger pieces and ended up with a stuck blade and a drained battery after numerous tries. After recharging the main unit, the fruit had defrosted a bit, and away we go! It took less than 40 seconds, and I had my smoothie ready. Since then, I have used thawed and smaller sizes of frozen fruit, and it has worked really well. I have to say, I’m impressed with this smoothie maker as I no longer need to bring out my huge blender so, I am giving it 5 stars. If anything changes in the near future, I will return and update my review.

Works great for my protein shakes
This review is for the Portable Blender for Smoothies, 34oz Personal Size Mini Small Protein Shake Smoothie Blender, Cordless & BPA Free with Leakproof Lanyard Sip Lid (Purple).I wanted something “to go” as I only have a vitamix blender, and it is not portable enough to cart to and from work. This little blender is perfect. I make protein shakes with fresh fruit and ice. My ice is small (from a countertop ice maker), so I have not had problems with the unit not mixing/crushing/pureeing everything the way I like it. I love this little blender and highly recommend it using it the way I do.

This portable cordless blender made of quality materials — BPA-free plastic body and stainless steel blades — is sturdily built and can blend and hold a hefty 34 fluid ounces of shakes and smoothies. The handle provides a nice sturdy grip and is removable for transport to more easily fit into gym bag pockets.I enjoy very cold lemony slushy drinks and had high hopes that this blender, advertised as being able to handle crushing ice cubes, would be just the ticket, especially considering the high price point of $69.90, which suggested a motor more powerful than most portable blenders.Unfortunately, this blender not only did a poor job of blending and crushing ice cubes and lemonade — most of them were merely nicked — it also did it quite loudly, which would have been less annoying if it were effective. Had the advertising not listed the feature of being capable of crushing ice cubes, I would not have been as disappointed (nor would I have been likely to order it in the first place).So, for my purpose of making a daily lemonade slushy, my sole reason for ordering it in the first place, this blender was a fail. However, for those wanting to mix typical shakes and smoothies, the motor and blades of this blender are indeed powerful enough to get that job done readily.

Not enough power
I thought I was getting a good portable blender based on the advertisement. I followed instructions and charged the blender. I make a lot of fruit smoothies and was impressed with the large 34oz capacity. However it doesn’t mean it can handle large fruit like a whole orange or peach. The blades/motor are not strong enough. It works better for soft fruit like strawberries or blueberries. I am disappointed considering the price.
