Works Great
I have 2 love seats that are about two years old. It looks more like an antique. Pilling has ruined the looks. I thought the fabric saver might just do that. Sure enough,it did. It took a while, but I have “shaved” the fabric and it looks great. It was a great purchase that makes my furniture much more appealing. I also received two replacement blades, which means I’ll be using this for a long time. It also has a fabric brush and small cleaning brush. It’s easy to charge and hold the charge throughout a treatment. A great purchase.

This product is so nice. It is easy to shave off the lint and balls off of my sweaters and basically anything that gets old looking. Long battery life and more powerful than ones I’ve had in the past.

Design causes lint to become trapped around blade
This is the second sweater shaver I have owned. I recently had to restore many vintage wool sweaters and trousers covered in dog hair, and my previous sweater shaver required batteries. I was going through so many batteries, that I opted to get a rechargeable one. This shaver is larger, and the handle is more ergonomic, so it is more pleasant to use for long stretches (getting all of this dog hair off a wool sweater involved painstakingly going over every inch of the sweater, inside and out). However, the design is not as good as my previous sweater shaver. The hole where the lint leaves the blade chamber to enter the lint chamber is small, and easily gets blocked, particularly with wool and other animal fibers (animal fibers hook together and create mats). Because the lint cannot exit the blade chamber, it builds up around the blades and the blade stops turning. You look at the lint chamber and see it is empty, so it does not appear clogged. But removing the lint chamber and the blade shield will reveal a lot of lint buildup. The shield and lint chamber are easy to remove, and if you have an air duster, the whole mechanism is easy to clean. However, because of this design, you will spend more time taking it apart and cleaning it than with other models, if you are using it on very fuzzy stuff. It does, however, remove pet hair well. The charger works fine, though you will have to recharge often. The brush design is not great. The brush works, but the shape and direction it is in when you hold the shaver by the handle makes for some awkward motions in order to brush your fabric effectively. I generally remove the brush attachment, and use a separate brush to brush my fabric first, before using the shaver. This is also more effective because pet hairs fill quickly fill the brush, and can easily redeposit onto the fabric as you are using the shaving function. So really the only extra bell or whistle on this model that makes it worth the higher price than others is the ability to recharge, and the handle. Overall, this model does save me time and money and is a bit more pleasant to use than the cheaper small battery-operated shavers you can find. But unless you do a lot of this (restoring old textiles or own a pet that sheds a ton), I’d recommend saving your money and buying a cheaper more basic one.

This Fabric Shaver is the BEST
I am so very glad that this product has exceeded my expectation and works so VERY VERY well at taking the fuzz and little balls off of clothes. It has saved several sweaters and tops from being thrown away because they almost look new now and now worn. THANK YOU for such a great product and the easiest defuzzer I have ever used as well as being the only one that has really worked.

10/10 This is a great product and was so easy to use. I charged it overnight and used it the next day. It held the charged as I shave a badly-pilled knit jacket and a pullover sweatshirt. It doesn’t snag at all and rejuvenates your clothing. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

I saw someone using an industrial version of this kind of device at a thrift store. All of their “thrift” shirts looked like new. So I ordered this product to see if I could rescue some of my favorite t-shirts and sweatshirts that were covered with lint pills and looking worn out. Wow! It works! My shirts look nearly new–so much cleaner and fresher! And it works great on my husband’s flannel shirts. You have to be patient and take your time, but I think it’s worth it. The lint chamber was tight and very hard to pull out at first, but once I used it a few times it got much easier.

Very useful product
This lint remover is best and easy to operate. That handle makes it easy to hold. Battery time is longer, i had charged only one time since bought and already used on about 10 clothes.

Purchased this as my blazer has seen better days with it being wool but I didn’t want to throw it away so got this as a last dash to give it a new lease of life…and oh my has it done that.Aside from removing all the fluff and bobbles I found this proper satisfying to remove, it glides over the material so smoothly, no sticking but gently removing all the fuzz and bobbles that has accumulated.My blaser now looks like new and I honestly don’t know how I survived without this product.I would rate this at 10/10 for efficiency, ease of use and durability. Also absolutely love that this isn’t battery operated, it charged so fast and worked without any issues whatsoever, esp given the amount of fuss it removed.10/10
