So easy to use!
I am so excited about this!! I got it for $30 over the holidays and the packaging alone was probably $30. It hooked up to my TV super easy and linking my Peloton membership was even easier. All my workouts are being tracked without me having to do anything. This guide is nice to have when I’m not on the peloton bike and want to do a nice fitness workout from my TV. This is great and for the price, even better!!!

OK, Now I have no excuse to skip my workouts
Super easy to set up on my TV. Connects quickly to my existing Peloton app. The remote makes it so that I don’t need my phone. It’s a bit larger than I expected but doesn’t take up too much space on my TV. It can be mounted on top of the TV or flat on the console the TV rests on. Comes with a magnetic mount which lets you change the angle, and all of the cables it needs.

Wife loves it!
My wife wasn’t sure she even like this product or use it. But it’s now a part of her daily workout routine. She liked the engagement and the reassurance that her exercise and form are correct. We were ready paying for the Pelaton app subscription, so this added nothing to our costs, aside from the unit itself. We’re definitely happy with this purchase and can recommend to others.

Totally worth it, great piece of equipment for strength training
I was skeptical, but for $45 figured it was worth a try. And it was, I love this thing! It is a high quality piece of equipment, very well made and super sturdy. (If you missed it for $45, still worth it for $95 imo.)PROs1. You can see the exercise plan and the timer for each move! I LOVE THIS. Seriously, this feature alone makes the Guide 100% worth it! They really should be promoting this more than the rep and movement tracking.2. Second favorite feature, which they are also not promoting enough — it has voice commands! e.g. You can say, “Ok Peloton, show me 5 and 10 minute core classes with Emma Lovewell” and they’ll pop right up. I had no idea this was a thing until I set it up. I mostly go with my stack, but sometimes want to add on and this makes it easy to search.3. It shows L, M, H for each exercise so you know which weight to use.4. I can see myself on screen and check my form. This is great since I can’t put up mirrors in my workout space.5. The rep counter *mostly* works great for me. It will occasionally count an extra rep if I put my weights down after a squat or deadlift (or if I, ahem, start to fall over during a single leg deadlift lol). It can also be off facing forward instead of sideways for certain moves. But majority of the time, it is pretty accurate.6. The movement tracker is a good motivator, love seeing it and the rep tracker go green!7. With the Guide membership, you get access to all classes on the Guide and App for $24/month. Same price as the App+, but you can add up to 5 people on your account. (I’m not sure why someone would assume the Guide membership would give you all access on the Peloton bike, tread, or rower. Or that it would cost the same as those. This is not confusing.)8. There is a banner at the top of the screen so you can advance to the next class in your stack after a workout.9. You can turn off the mic and camera very easily (slide the cover over the camera, mic switch in the back).10. I much prefer using this vs. casting it from my iPad. It doesn’t use up my iPad battery, and it’s easy to navigate, pick classes, and access your stack.CONs1. The Form Assist – which I believe is in beta mode – is not bad. But for many exercises you have to face sideways, such as squats and deadlifts. This makes sense, but then you have to constantly turn your head to see if it has suggestions… which then affects your form. It’s also a pain in the neck, literally. I find just checking side by side on screen with the trainer is more effective for me. And unfortunately, you can’t turn it off. So if you face forward the screen will say face sideways to check your form which is annoying. I’m hoping Peloton will make this an option you can turn off in settings.2. Speaking of, I really wish it would let you set other options — e.g. make the “Here now” list hidden on all views (I do not care who else is taking the class at the same time, and don’t know why I’d need to see that the entire class) or allow you to select your own default view for all classes. It will do that from class to class but not day to day.3. Even in made for Guide classes, there are occasionally untracked exercises – meaning it doesn’t track reps or time. I wish it at least had the movement tracker for everything.4. For classes that are not made for the Guide, you do still see the class plan (if there is one), which is great. The timing is occasionally off a bit, so I mostly use it to see what exercise is next and follow the instructor on screen for cues.5. The Guide membership is monthly, would love it if they offered an annual price like they do with the app. But it appears annual is not an option on any of their equipment so it tracks.

Amazing companion to Peloton
This thing is amazing, I don’t understand why there are any negative reviews! It’s so easy to set up, and the rep counting and form feedback is incredible. It’s what I always wanted, I didn’t realize it was available! It works very well and you get the added bonus of it being part of the Peloton ecosystem. So happy with this purchase and excited to use it a lot this year!

Only specific TVs work
I have a smart TV but the differences I do not have the HDM one connection that you plug right into the TV now on my Xfinity box I can plug it in on there. I can also plug it in on my laptop and use it from that, it’s very frustrating when it’s cold outside and you’ve been focusing on other things that are way more important like just being able to walk around an entire day to then get hit by a car they can’t do surgery on your foot. The bone Hass to grow back together and in the cold , it’s not fun it hurts. I’ve been stuck at a way I’m not happy with I like to work out. It makes me feel better and this was the cheapest easiest way to do it in my home where I feel safe because things do happen to women and I won’t get hurt And it’s more of muscle mass and core but for what I paid for I’m not happy I contact support there Hass to be a plug-in actually on the TV and if there’s not even those something else is connected to the TV you cannot plug it in there so tomorrow I’m just gonna contact the company which I’m sure will be the same place I got tonight It’s $200 unless you get it on sale I was told if my TV was a smart TV I didn’t know what that meant. I asked and he’s like that’s a smart TV knowing the cable was not gonna fit into my TV but I checked the box and it fit perfectly. Why does not why can I not use that when I can go to my cable box And I’m sure I could open it from there but I have to use my laptop which I don’t have access to because I didn’t use it because I didn’t think I was going to be here. I don’t know how women do it I really don’t when you’re alone 1500 a month in child care , a car note felt like we had everything and I can’t get a basic work out to make sure I’m doing it right

It was really easy to set up, and from how much I’ve used it so far, it was bug free.Really straightforward to navigate through as well. I’m happy with the purchase.

Like many of you, I researched the heck out of this thing. What is the setup process like? Was it helpful in workouts? Does it really complement the Peloton bike? Can say that my fiancée and I love this thing. There are several YouTube vids out there saying the setup process was awful, but those vids are a year old or more, and the Peloton dev team must have seen them, because it was a piece of cake to set up for us.As for the portfolio of classes, it’s amazing. We’ve tapped into the stretching, yoga, and weight classes. In that it definitely complements my ride workouts. If you need any further proof, just take Hannah’s 10 minute foam roller session. It will make the strongest human cry from how hard yet rewarding it is. Gawd I hope it improves my flexibility.

I really love it, but I’m not giving a full 5/5 because AI technology isn’t quite there yet. The accuracy of some exercises still needs improvement.
