Good product, but the battery can be weird at times
I’ve used this product maybe 5 times or so since purchase. Made sure to put it back in it’s cool little case once done. The sound quality is great for the price and convenience, but there are some oddities or drawbacks to it. For one, the connection takes a while to establish. I’ve tried this product with 2 phones just to be sure, and it takes a solid 30-60 seconds to establish a connection to the headphones. There’s also an issue with the battery. When I first received it, I discharged the battery completely like you’re supposed to do with any battery powered item, and then fully recharged it. Took it to work with me the next day and everything was perfect, battery life was at 70% by the time I stopped using it. Thought that was pretty stellar since it was a total of 6 hours of usage. I went to use it the next day and the battery read 50%… thought that was odd, but ok, no biggie. I’d at least have several hours of listening time before it hit 0%. Wrong. Once the 30% mark rolled around, it keeps saying “BATTERY LOW” every minute, even when listening to something. As annoying as it was, I kept listening to my music, but after about 5 mins of “BATTERY LOW” the device shuts off. I turn it back on, and immediately get another alert, and it shuts off again. I look at the battery life expecting it to read 0% but it still reads 30%. I grabbed my other phone thinking it was getting a false positive percentage and that one also says 30%. After getting it home and recharging it that night, I tested the whole scenario out again, listened to music all day for a total of 7.5hrs. Same situation. 30% rolls around “BATTERY LOW!” and then shuts off.Like I said, not a bad device by any means for the price, but you get what you pay for in every instance, so just make sure you keep in mind that a 30% battery life readout means next to nil.EDIT: Since posting this, Otium has reached out to me and offered to replace my headphones. At this point, regardless of functionality, any company that is willing to do that after 2+ years with no warranty extension is good in my books. Hopefully the issue hasn’t persisted past my original set.UPDATE: Unfortunately the new set received by Otium was similar, only it took far less time to start up. After 5 months of use, the new set of headphones began battery issues, where a full charge would read 100% on my phone, and then after one song, immediately drop to 30%, scream “BATTERY LOW” at me for 2 more mins before dying at 0%. The battery has a short lifespan, worse than most. At this point, I recommend just going with a higher price product with warranty included.

Solid workout headphones. Great customer support.
These are my go-to workout headphones. I wear them in the sauna, where I sweat a LOT, and most headphones don’t last more than a couple months through that abuse. These ended up failing too around that time frame (specifically, no longer charging), but the customer support was incredibly responsive and helpful, immediately sending me a new pair, no questions asked!More about the product: the bluetooth connection is easy and reliable. They fit snugly in the ears and have the different sized plugs to make sure they fit you properly. There’s no active, electronic noise cancellation, but there shouldn’t be at this price point- and with the snug silicone fit, they block out noise decently. The sound quality is up to par with more expensive headphones. Overall, phenomenal value.

Great headphones for the price
I’m a pretty active fellow, some would say. I also enjoy listening to music while I do things and stuff. And this is why I needed Bluetooth headphones. In the kitchen: I love cooking and listening to music with earbuds. And I have a good sized kitchen so I’m always going back and forth, opening and shutting drawers and cabinets. Then whammy!! The dang cords get wrapped around a handle and my buds pop out of my ears and dangle on the floor. Bummer.Running: not so much fun having little cords whip my face with every step.Shopping: yes, I’m one of those people who listen to music while shopping. I keep my phone in the cart with the list facing me but when I reach out further than the earbud cord goes, buds pop out or phone drops into the cart. There it is. My life with corded ear buds. So why don’t I just get AirPods? Because I don’t want to fork over $160 for something I’m gonna lose. Instead I opted for the Otium wireless buds. The cost is great. Not too expensive. They come in a round case with a variety of ear pads for different sized ears and a charging micro usb cord which is a bit ridiculously short. The ear pads were a bit large for my large ears. I mean, really? I have, I guess, normal sized man ears, but a quick change to a slightly smaller size and the buds fit perfectly in my head holes. After a quick charge I put them to good use. First off, pairing with my phone was quick and easy. After a read of the instructions, navigating the buttons on the right bud was pretty intuitive. The fit snugly in my head without feeling like something is tugging at me at all times. And the connection cord around my neck is negligible. All in all a good fit and very comfortable. So what about sound? Not bad. With the larger ear pads everything sounded like it was solely treble, but when I got the right size and the buds fit normally I could finally hear some bass. Not much. But enough to make a difference. The overall quality of sound is equivalent to the iPhone ear buds, sans the bass. I kept my phone either in my pocket or in my arm band and the sound never scratched or skipped a beat. Not sure how far I can go before the Bluetooth connection disrupts, but if you’re like me, your phone will be nearby at all times anyway.I have an eclectic taste in music. I listen to everything from classical, to 80s rock or pop, rap, film scores, alternative, and more. I’m not expecting to hear the quality of a live orchestra, but for all intents and purposes these are a great pair of headphones.I give this product four stars for overall quality of sound, function, design, etc. Four stars means if I need to replace them in the future, I may look for another product, but I’ll more than likely stick with these again.

Sound quality was at best ok. Background noises made listening at low volumes unenjoyable. Very bad high tones.Planned obsolescence included! After 10 mm months of rare and careful use the headphones died.

In overall I wouldn’t have any problems with them, in general, ok headphones, connect easily with my Garmin. They sit ok in-ear and no big yays in general. But I have to give it one star because they stopped working after one, 30 minutes long, session at the pool. That is not good for something which is advertised for swimming.
