HIGH POWER: The VKR120 is rated at 150 Watts per channel with minimal bass roll-off, and is often used with multi-channel amplifiers and impedance-matching speaker selectors. Perfect for home theater systems.
VOLUME CONTROL: The controls allow you to adjust the volume of a pair of speakers independently of other speakers in a house audio system. The last click completely disconnects the audio signal from the source.
FREQUENCY: The VKR120 offers one of the widest frequency responses of any volume control resulting in audiophile sound quality. It delivers an 11-step rotation pop-free control for a wide range of volumes.
RESISTOR BASED: The VKR120 is resistor is based making it ideal for 1 pair (2 speakers) when impedance matching is not required. Virtually no high or low end roll off resulting in audiophile sound quality.
DESIGN: For dedicated audio zones, the décor plates install easily into a wall and work with almost any system. It accepts 12-14 gauge wiring and fits in a standard gang box with a 2.9” depth.

Works great and quick install. good instructions.
Easy installation. The wire terminals are removable and are the exact same as my previous volume controls. which made the swap quick by simply unplugging the input and output terminals and plugging them into the new speaker volume control. They also have an adjustable impedance selection, make sure you set this up correctly for your driver amp before install the switch plate. The switch comes with a really good install instruction sheet as well.

This was exactly what I was looking for when finding something discreet, and not in the way, or sitting on its own to control the volume for a turntable that’s in a different room and the speakers in another. The feel is very tactile and very nice attenuation. Has a solid and heavy build, and the price is great.

My old controls had yellowed and were crackling when turned so I bought these as replacements. Very happy with the decora style and the soft touch when turning the controls. Quality seems excellent. I would buy again.

I researched many different volume control knobs offered on Amazon and decided to give this one a go! The installation was a breeze! You will need a box extender as these units are quite deep but they’re easy to find on Amazon! When it comes to the knob itself it is very well built, there’s no pausing in the audio when adjusting the level (as others have mentioned) and you won’t be disappointed! Note: The instructions could have been a little clearer when setting the impedance matching toggle… also, I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere but the higher you set the toggle example 1/2x -> 4x -> 8x you’ll notice a drop in the volume output from your speakers however that is to be expected! Overall, I was very happy with this control knob!Like the title says I ended up purchasing another one! The second one was a little temperamental at first but that was due to some wiring that needed to be replaced and due to a more powerful amplifier! I replaced some wires and reduced the volume on the amplifier and now all is awesome with this one too!

The volume control kit was delivered within a few days, works as promised with respect to the volume control and sound quality, and fits inside the rather small in-wall gang box I have in my place. I would certainly recommend this item.
