Exact replacement, Easy to install
Our old heating element burned out, started sparking. Yikes! This one was easy to install once I pulled the old one out. Two screws that hold it in place and two push-on electrical connections. Remember to turn off the circuit breaker. Someone suggested putting a clothes pin on each of the two wires as you remove the old element, it is a good idea. You will need a 1/4” hex nut tool for the two screws. If you have a screw driver with interchangeable bits that will work fine. 10 minutes, start to finish for me, maybe more, maybe less fot you.

This heating element only lasted a year. The original element lasted nearly 15 years. Cheap stuff. I’d give a rating of zero if available.

Replacement burner for GE oven
My oven burner went out. This part has replaced it fine.It was too difficult for my husband or me, in our 70s, to plug in. We had to hire a handyman who had no trouble at all. Been working fine.

Part as described but return policy costly
Unfortunately I couldn’t use this part because after removing my element, I figured out I had an electrical issue and didn’t want to chance this as a repair. I’m sure the part would have worked fine, but just not appropriate in my case. That said, I was allowed to return, but I had to pay for the shipping. That was annoying because I looked carefully before buying to make sure I could return since this was an Amazon prime product. So now I’m out the price of shipping, besides having to spring for a new oven. Be forewarned, if you think you might need to return this, it will cost you money.
