Impressed
I never liked bread make bread because they would come out as these dense blocks. This bread maker makes a nice horizontal loaf with a nice top. I have found that really only the recipes that come with the machine work. Unless you just do the dough function which works well too. Love this! Easy to use. Cleans well. Makes awesome bread and is customizable to 3 different sizes of loafs.

Very pleased
I wanted to buy the best and it wasn’t about price. The one that has the highest ratings online is also twice the price of this one. I studied the differences and finally decided that this one was better for me because of the ceramic bread pan. I do not want more ptfe in my body and the problem with non-ceramic coatings is that they tend to not be able to handle the higher heat of bread making. That was the final reason that I decided on this one instead of the more expensive one. I am very pleased with it after my first attempt which went smoothly. I was actually surprised at how quickly it makes a 3lb loaf of bread. I used the recipe that came in the manual and it worked flawlessly. I will be trying a few other recipes and I especially am looking forward to trying out a sourdough bread recipe on my second loaf. I really like this machine and there isn’t much else that I can say since it did such a terrific job at doing what it’s supposed to do. My plan is a 3lb loaf a week and I will see how it holds up and then update my review. As far as things stand, I would highly recommend this one.

CERAMIC PAN, LARGER CAPACITY, CYCLE DISPLAY
Love that it makes larger size loaves. Also important for me was that the pan was ceramic and not nonstick Teflon. This machine also clearly displays exactly we are in the cycle. The program is up to. For me that is very helpful because I do like to take out the paddles before baking. However, with other machines you do not really know where when the last mix cycle is this machine displays exactly what it is doing so that after the last mix, I do remove the paddles.

My first loaf of white bread 2.2 lbs on light crust.Came out verry nice, little bit light on top but not too bad, mixed verry well no left over flour or unmixed flower on the bottom of bread. Bread crumb was excellent, light and spongy, crust was thin and tasty. Don’t know if it will bake a 3.3 lb loaf of white bread without touching the lid, but other breads that are denser will probably work. But still 2.2 lbs is a large size 5 x5 by 8 1/2Pros Large horizontal Pan 5x5x8.5 interior size 2 paddles (really mixed ingredients) Powerful motor 850w Large viewing window 3×6 (really like this feature) Scrolling display that you tell you what function it is doing (mix, rest, kneeding, baking) Ceramic pan ( bread slid right out, verry little mess left in pan) Nut/fruit mixer is nice to haveCons Loud noise when despenser is activated, even when despenser is not in machine, scared me I thought something was wrong with the machine. Only lasts a few seconds, so not really to bad Not many functions only 15 ( I’m spoiled my other has 29) does not have a quick bread function for baking powder/soda bread Manual is basic verry few recipes Dial seams like a unnecessary feature could have just had a pluss and minus button. Cost. 199 is not a bad price for features (horizontal 2 paddle ceramic pan, duel heating element, 850w motor fruit dispenser, large capacity) but it was to much for me as a casual baker. But it was on lightning deal for 150 ish dollars, but at 200 it is still a good deal if you bake alotOverallWould I recommend, yes, but only if you want large size loafs, and don’t mind missing a few functionsThe fruit despenser opens before the last kneeding, which is OK for fruit inside the loaf, but I wish there was a option to open after the last rise so it would put nuts on the top of the loaf.This is my third bread maker i tried, first was a walmart artisan, which made terrible bread, tasted all gummy and motor was to week to mix, under cooked with hard burnt crust, and always left unmixed flour at the bottom of bread. Next was the kitchenarm 29 in 1, makes a good bread most of the time, only 550w motor which is OK for small pan, has a great manual and seperate recipe book,excellent customer service, and I was pretty happy with it. I would recommend this to anyone wo wants a cheaper unit with excellent features. Until I tried a friend’s bread made with a horizontal bread maker ( starts with a z and is almost $400), and is so much better. I think it is a combination of more powerful motor to mix, and the horizontal pan allows dough to stretch out and rise without all the weight of the dough pressing down.

Product sent defective with no customer service to help me
Product didn’t work. Turned into a potential fire hazard. I’m writing this after getting it as a gift for my mother for Christmas you couldn’t change the programs on the machine and it wouldn’t turn off. What’s worse is the customer service I received from Amazon after trying to get a replacement breadmaker. As Amazon’s policies somehow don’t let you replace something that was sent defective. I talked a supervisor and they were just as helpful as the associates.I will be reaching out to neretva themselves to see if they will send a replacement but I am overrall very dissapointed with how this situation was handled. Will update if nerevta ever responds.

Abruptly stopped working
Bread maker worked great for the 1st nine months and then it died. Was well maintained during it’s short life span. I think the kneeding motors quit working. Haven’t had it a year yet. Thought it had at least a one year warranty but not getting any support from Amazon and can’t reach the manufacturer at all. Worked great while it lasted but with only nine months of occasional use, I’d hardly say that I got my money’s worth. Rather disappointed in both Amazon and the bread machine manufacturer.

Haven’t had a bread maker in years. Now this one is amazing and so many features. Used for bread and dough so far. Excellent. Love the adjustable crust for light med or dark.Note the dough vs kneading programs. Kneading merely moves it. Dough adds time for proofing and rising. Very quiet machine, and doesn’t rock or move at all when making larger loafs. Well designed, and consistently works well. Only thing I’d have liked was a laminated card with instructions for selecting programs etc. Worried with it being in the little cookbook I may misplace it over the years.

I use it once or twice a week and it started making weird noise when kneading. One of the paddle is not rotating smoothly.I am concerned that it would stop working soon.Otherwise it is a good bread maker
