    Great Purchase as Gift
IT WAS gift sent directly to Grandsons, age 6 & 8. THEIR mom said they loved them and Mom and Dad like too. Great to have read before bedtime, as both taking Spanish class at school now in Calif.I , PERSONALLY, have not seen books yet, as they live a distance from me. Grandsons told me in phone, both books real helpful as both seem to like learning the the language. I based my purchase on others comments. Glad I did. PARENTS & FRIENDS like books too.

Great Spanish visual beginner book for all!
Love this book. Any book with lots of pictures when it comes to foreign languages are good to me. I have learned lots of vocabulary and remember it a day later. If you learn visually this book works great. Sturdy condition and came quickly in mail. THanks!

Fun and engaging for children just starting to learn Spanish
I like the setup, with words grouped onto pages based upon themes. It’s definitely aimed at kids, with topics such as “At the ice cream shop”, and “imagination words” (some common story book words) joining the more usual fare (“at school”, “family”). I was a bit disappointed in the coverage of numbers, in which numbers jump directly from twenty to one hundred to one thousand. I also do not agree with some of the pronunciations. However, I was quite pleased to find the alphabetical index in the back, with both English to Spanish, and Spanish to English lists of the words in the book. Overall, I found it to be a fun, engaging, helpful picture dictionary for children beginning Spanish.

    Great for toddlers
I got this book for my niece who has been asking how to say things in Spanish. She and I love to look up everyday words in this book and the pictures make it very easy for her to find exactly what she’d like to interpret.

but this is just great for one word look ups
I ordered this book for a young Spanish/American friend to help her at home and in school. When he uncle saw the book, he wanted one for his son, and then we ordered one for our home. We have several English/Spanish dictionaries, but this is just great for one word look ups.

I bought this dictionary also for the 2 families we know in Mexico. The whole family loves it and uses it. the children use it to help them read, by seeing the pictures, then the words for the pictures in spanish. The parents use it to learn the english words from the spanish words.
