Great 5 CUPS, small and compact, coffee maker with EXCELLENT AUTO SHUT OFF (not found on many small coffee makers; don’t burn the kitchen down)!!! Nice carafe, ez to put coffee in (arm automatically swings back in place to DRIP, when close top (after adding coffee). It could not be any better, and I have owned plenty!

Excellent personal coffee maker choice
The perfect coffee maker for a one to two person household. I love the Brew Later feature. I set it for 4:45 am and my coffee is ready and waiting for me. I love the reusable filter too. It is very easy to setup the clock and the Brew Later feature. The Brew Now feature is great for on demand. Its speed of brewing is fine in my opinion because this is brew coffee. The temp is fine but I do like my coffee super hot so I have always heated it further in the microwave. No concerns with the taste of the coffee either. The coffee pot handle feels substantial. Really pleased.

The pod machine killer
I have been using pod coffee makers for many years. Good coffee, but expensive, and instantaneous coffee making had me building a six cup a day habit. $22 for a bulk carton of pods, a 2 week supply, was costly and not great for my blood pressure.I purchased the Mr. Coffee Programmable Coffee Maker to make coffee a more deliberate task, and to reduce cost. It takes approx 5 minutes to brew coffee with the Mr. Coffee unit. So, I start coffee while cooking breakfast.The $22 box of pods has been replaced with an $8 – $10 bag of good ground coffee. Consumption has been reduced to 2 cups a day, about what one carafe holds. The $22 box of pods lasted two weeks, the $10 bag last for a month.The flavor and strength of coffee is excellent. The permanent filter slows water flow through the coffee for a more uniform brew, and keep grounds out of a cup. The charcoal filter works well for removing suspended particles from well water.I plan on trying paper filters, in place of the permanent metal and charcoal filters, to see how they effect taste. Paper filters do a better job of removing lipids from brewed coffee, oils that can elevate LDL cholesterol.I like it.Edit: reduced one star, because I have been unable to locate replacement 2″ charcoal water filters. Universal fit Mr. Coffee filters are twice the size and do not work. Also unable to get assistance on this issue though company’s customer service.

Great Time-Saver
I bought this for my daughter and she loves that it is programmable so that her coffee is ready in the busy morning when getting kids ready for school. It makes good coffee with a permanent filter, saves money on paper filters, and takes up little space in a small kitchen.

My favorite coffee maker!
This is the second one I’ve bought of these small, programmable Mr.Coffee machines, and I’m quite happy! The last was a very different design and this one very much improves upon the old design flaws. I don’t drink enough coffee to have a big 12 cup, not to mention the price is significantly higher for the full size version of the programmable models. I can never get the right amount of water and coffee ground ratio when trying to make less than a full pot with those bigger ones, HATED the “name brand” single serve coffee “pod” machine, so I switched to this little guy here. The first (er, last?) I bought spring 2020 and served me well until I accidentally left a basket of grounds in it and it went moldy while I was in hospital for four days at the outset of 2023. I tried to clean it with vinegar, even full strength, but unfortunately the mold infiltrated the water line from the reservoir to the “drip,” so with no way to get a straw brush into it to clean it, I had to order a new one. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this still came with the reusable filter which helps in making nice, strong coffee, and that the MSRP hadn’t gone up too much since inflation hit the market hard over the last few years. This one happened to come with a charcoal “water filter,” and that was the only negative about this. The filter doesn’t seem to be replaceable since I could only find the size for the 12 cup models, not the mini size needed for this little 5cup model, and the very first time I used the coffee maker, the filter caused the reusable filter to overflow with grounds ending up in my pot, AND the filter fell apart with the paper discs that held the charcoal in place pulling out of their slot in the filter ring. Other than that, this will always be my go-to coffee maker for everyday use! Thank you Mr. Coffee!

Great little Mr. Coffee
Mr. Coffee know what they are doing. The household has been favoring this unit over the Moccamaster. Reasons are: Pro:> Compact, easy to move around. This volume is more appropriate for my household> Has programmable timer> Flat coffee grind holer/ brewer: b/c the bottom is flat, the coffe have time to be steeped a little before the coffee is dispensed> Water filter/diffuser: We use filtered water already, but this also diffused the water to the steeping pot so more than 1 area is getting water> Heating plate works well. I purchased a used model and the heating plate keeps coffee HOTNice to haves:> Multiple (even just 2) programmable times for delayed brewing> Stainless filter instead of plastic/nylon> Willing to have slightly larger size to have brewed strength options or like the Moccmaster, just a tension tab that stops coffee dispensing for prolonged brewing> Last of all, willing to pay more for a model that isn’t all plastic.Overall, a great addition to a household that gets up early & leaves for work at different times.

Flimsy plastic, gets the job done
This is a small, basic coffee maker (which is fine for me because it’s what I needed for my limited counter space). I’ve used it several times now and it works well. There wasn’t a manual or any assembly instructions included with the shipment but I guess it’s mostly common sense. I was surprised at how cheap the plastic is, and the pot itself is thin glass that wouldn’t survive rough handling or a fall. Overall it’s an okay product for the price, but I had hoped for better build quality from a Mr. Coffee. But you get what you pay for.

The seller is listed from UK and said item delivered from the UK however is actually delivered from USA So had to also buy and adopter.Used twice and broke. Set it up to brew in the morning woke up to only half a cup. Cleaned everything and tried again but just wouldn’t work.Seller tried to get ME TO PAY to send it back to USA. however after a few emails back and forth the did issue a full refund but didn’t arrange for the item to be collect so it’s now binned.

Apenas la probé el día de ayer 02/05/2023 y es super fácil y practica, la compre para tenerla en la oficina justo en mi escritorio :)Voy a usarla 6 días a la semana vamos a ver que tal funciona y seguiré comentando en el proceso, como dato importante el filtro de agua que es la el que se pone arriba del filtro del café, se tiene que cambiar 1 vez por mes o bien cuando cuentes 30 filtraciones, esto optimiza el uso y mantiene libre los minerales del agua al mecanismo de nuestra cafetera; espero les sirva mi comentario!! 🙂

J’aime beaucoup la machine à café que j’ai reçu là première j’ai commandé une deuxième machine je l’ai jamais reçu j’aimerais bien la recevoir il mon remi mon argent mais j’aimerais mieux avoir la machine à cafés
