This Melitta Carafe is fantastic! Works as promised
I like to brew my coffee with a Melitta filter cone as I like to control the strength of the brew and don’t drink enough to justify making a whole pot. This carafe is perfect as I can brew two cups at once and it keeps it hot for a few hours. You could probably brew four large cups of coffee in this carafe but I haven’t tried it since it’s more than I need. I preheat the carafe with hot water then brew the coffee. My second cup an hour later is as hot as the first cup and just a fresh. A perfect addition to my morning coffee ritual!The carafe and filter cone are well made and should last for many years.

great replacement
This is a great replacement for thew glass carafe which broke. Not only is it unbreakable but it makes more coffee and keeps it hot.

Compact, #6 Filter contrainer, but pricey
Matches our Aroma Electric Kettle (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NCY1YFK?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) perfectly and insulates beverages for 2-3 hours well.Purchased this based on our happiness with Melitta products in the past (although we use Bunn exclusively for auto-drip), and use it at least 2-3 times a day.Hand Cleans well and doesn’t really need an automatic dishwasher cycle. We just rinse the pour over top, pot and lid and it stays neat.The #6 pour over top doesn’t lock down and is easily removed. The sealed lid snaps on top and has a trigger to open the pour spout.One complaint I had was that when the pot is near empty, the pour was a bit messy since the liquid would escape around the spout as you tilted to pot to pour. After a while it came to my notice that the pot acts almost pressurized and if you hold the trigger open and pour slower, the spout contains the liquid well until empty. Crazy but it works.Ultimately, it’s a bit pricey for what it is, an insolated pot with a plastic top and lid. At $50 it’s too high. The quality and capability is more in line with a $29 price tag…

Good quality coffee carafe
Perfect for a pour over, keeps the coffee warm enough for long enough. I think the design can be better, as one needs to tilt it quite a lot to get the last drop of coffee (almost upside down, vertically), but other than that, it does the job. Good coffee w/out expensive machinery.

Keeps coffee warm, not dishwasher safe
This is a good product and it keeps coffee very warm. I found out the hard way, however, that the carafe is NOT dishwasher safe as part of the trim on the handle melted.

High quality and nice looking, pour spout “seats” into the top for easy pour.
Found this stainless steel pour over, having replaced two glass pour overs, this one is the BEST. Not only durable, but has a great pour spout that securely fits into the opening for a clean pour. Large capacity, two travel mugs filled and some left over for maybe a 8 oz cup. Keeps contents hot/warm for a long time ( actually went to grab the last bit about 5 hours later and still warm). Highly recommend.

does what it is supposed to do
easy to use, I use just the pour over part for single cups and the carafe for more than one cup at a time. Coffee stays warm about an hour or more in the carafe. and since it isn’t glass i don’t worry about it breaking.

I have come home to the Melitta pour over way of brewing coffee. I first used this method back in the 70’s and gradually started using coffee makers and eventually forgot what a good cup of coffee should taste like. I laugh because young people think pour over is “new”.This thermos pot can hold 8 to 10 cups and keeps it warm for hours. The cone filter fits the opening well and the thermos lid snaps securely in place. It pours neatly.The coffee is so clean and fresh tasting compared to the muddy taste from my automatic coffeemaker. It’s so easy to use and I like that it can be cleaned every day with no build up of residue like what was lurking inside my fancy coffeemaker. I also purchased the Melitta Classic glass carafe pour over unit “just because”. I had no idea it was still available. This Melitta thermos unit is 5 stars all the way and I recommend it to anyone who loves a great cup of coffee.

I previously had a Keurig and a Nespresso machine. The Keurig died and I replaced it with one that broke in a month. I drink Nespresso less often as my family has 6-8 coffees in the morning and it is a bit pricey. I decided to purchase the Melitta and am so happy I did. It is pretty much indestructible and makes amazing coffee. I truly forgot how good this type of coffee is. Very flavourful and perfect for our needs.

This insulated carafe is much more convenient that the thermos we were using but why would a 6 cup carafe come with a 4 cup filter cone?

Exactly as described, well made. Keeps coffee hot for hours. Easy to clean and store. Coffee filter sits snuggly on top so isn’t tipsy when filling with hot water.
