Works as it should
Purchased to let me view non-licensed content in a vehicles media system. Be advised, read the listing carefully, this will not work for many streaming providers (Netflix, Prime Video, etc.)

DIDNT WORK. Tried to use it recently and of course past my return window.
I give zero stars if I could. I never thought to test to see if it works and had it on hand for my vacations and of course it doesn’t work and way out of return window. Out $20. Tries watching YouTube from my phone to my tv in our rv and nope. Nothing. It just shows a number in the bottom left of the tv screen.

Plugged cable into TV and iphone and played something on YouTube on my phone to do a test run. It popped up on the tv screen IMMEDIATELY. No messing around with phone settings. No anything. It just does what it’s supposed to do without me having to jump through a bunch of hoops. Very happy customer here.Update:I noted that some people have indicated that after iPhone updated, their cable stopped functioning and they were only getting a blank screen on their tv. I just downloaded the iOS 18.2 update onto my phone and cable still working properly. Apparently not a universal issue.

Didn’t Work, but they sent reaplacement
It didn’t work at all. I plugged it in and the TV screen just stayed blue and said “no signal”. When I tried opening an app, the TV showed what was on my phone screen for a split second and then went back to “no signal” again. I made sure it was plugged in all the way and the HDMI spot I plugged it into worked just fine before and after I tried this cord. It’s definitely faulty and I will be returning it. Hopefully this seller doesn’t have a lot of faulty cords being sent to customers.Update: Instead of just returning for a refund, I tried getting a replacement. The second cord came in good time and when I tried it, it worked as described!

Does not play streaming content
Please be aware that this cable will NOT allow you to stream video from Hulu,prime,Netflix…etc. you can stream YouTube however, and it does work nicely for photos and personal videos. Like one other reviewer stated, I tried to play a movie on prime that I purchased and it still will not play. If you’re using it for personal photos or a presentation it’s perfect, but if your like me looking for a camping or backyard movie night…I’m afraid you need to keep looking my friend.
