What a deal at 199 dollars
I had an 11 year old set of Energy Take 5.1 speakers (which I believe were made by Klipsch) that sounded very good. Long story short I had an opportunity to temporarily hook modern speakers to my surround sound and noticed a huge difference in clarity and sound, so the Energy set’s days were numbered.I always wanted Klipsch speakers for my home theater and when I saw these for 199.99 I grabbed them. Paired with a Polk down firing sub, the sound difference is astonishing. Watching Dune I could hear the spice blowing around my living room during the rescue sequence, never got anything like that with the Energy speakers. In fact these speakers made me realize just how flat my last set sounded. The size is perfect, they look great and they sound like much bigger, more expensive speakers. So glad I pulled the trigger on these.

Quality Entry Level Speakers
These are quality entry level speakers. The sound is crisp and clear. And, I appreciate the clarity of voices. If you can get these speakers for $250 or less, it is probably worth it.Please Note: This system are speakers only.

I love these
I’ve owned these in first generation form. Wasn’t until a pipe burst and water logged the originals that I purchased this set. Still sound great and loud. Still a small foot print ( I have them mounted on the walls and center under the tv ).

Great sound with easy setup.
I really like the easy setup, the speakers mount right over the box. Setup was a breeze and the sound is perfect for my room (10×15). Very solid and well built. Great sound, make sure to pair it a good receiver.

Great!
They’re good speakers compared to what I had before. I had a 15 year old cheap Logitech surround sound system where the speakers plug directly into the bass box, but I wanted a really good subwoofer so I got an svs sb 3000 and this causes me to have to upgrade my whole sound system. I hadn’t ever needed a receiver till now, and the speakers could have been connected with rca to speaker wire adapters or i could’ve just stripped the rca tips off but these speakers were on sale and were better so I switched. My sister now sings way, way better, at the price of major complexity because smart TVs and revives are all trying to control everything and I hate that. I can say that the speakers are the least of the problem in the set up. I just wish now that they were more neutral sounding but I didn’t know about this concept when I bought them and it was too late to return them. I’m fine with them, they do the job. They do sound good, I guess I would also prefer that they didn’t have little subwoofers in each speaker.

This comes with nothing
Only the speakers. No cables. No receiver. Nothing else.

Center speaker is shorted
They sound great but my new Onkyo amp keeps going into diagnostics mode due to shorted center speaker. Eventually the got stuck in protective mode and can’t be reset. Had to replace speaker and receiver
