Awesome and Convenient!
I really love this hand blender. I had resisted buying one because I have a full on Vitamix blender. However I love the convenience of this hand held device and best of all, it’s cordless!I’ve used it for soups, whipping cream and small smoothies. I did try it with potatoes but really it’s not the right tool for the job(makes them gluey). Plenty of power for these jobs. Blade arm is easy to clean. A quick rinse does the job. I take it apart for storage and it fits in a drawer. A stick blender does not have the power of a stand blender but it has a enough for basic jobs.. Adjust your expectations and you will love this!

Made well and works well. Battery charge lasts a long time. Great for soups and smoothies.

Thoughtful Design!
KitchenAid products have a strong reputation and this is no exception. I’d been price watching this cordless model after my sister recommended it and when I saw the price drop to a new historic low I decided to pull the trigger.I’m so glad that I did! The flexibility of having a cordless immersion blender is such a luxury. It can’t be used while plugged in, so I make sure to keep it charged up. That being said the battery life is great and I’d never worry about it dying in fewer than three uses.In terms of operation, this thing is a dream with several thoughtful inclusions. The one-button operation is simple and intuitive. Just press harder and it goes faster. The variable speed function works flawlessly. There’s a plastic piece included that clips onto the metal head to protect your delicate pot and pan finishes, which is a great little way to expand the usability. The shaft and blender head quickly detach for cleaning and cleaning the blades themselves is as easy as running the blender in a cup of warm soapy water. The blender also comes with a tall plastic measuring cup with a lid, which I use way more than I thought I would.I use this thing for everything from blending pots of soup and Tikka masala to pureeing fruits for making sorbets. My sister told me she’s been making homemade mayonnaise and other emulsions with hers and I’m excited to try that too.Overall, you know whether or not you’ll use an immersion blender. If you want one wait for this one to go on sale like I did and you won’t regret it. KitchenAid delivered a great product here.

It’s a beast
I figured that this would be a big step down in power from my corded immersion blender. I was wrong. It has good power and plenty of battery life. I use it daily. Whipped cream for coffee, fresh chopped garlic and ginger, smooth creamy guacamole, this thing rocks, and all with no cord in the way.

Most Used Kitchen Appliance
My wife and I both make some sort of smoothie or drink in the morning that needs pretty aggressive blending. We used to haul out the Vitamix, which worked great but is nowhere near as fast and convenient as this hand blender. It saves us a ton of time, and cleanup is easy. We use it almost every day, and the charge lasts at least a week. We’re really pleased with this product

Pretty good! Plastic container’s lid doesn’t fit.
Pros: Well-balanced for use. Length can handle deeper pots well, and keeps my hand well away from the contents of soup pots. Charges quickly. Powerful; much faster than my corded one. Doesn’t spatter. Cons: Blade guard doesn’t fit at all: useless! I have my doubts about the longevity of the plastic casing. NB: It is a two-blade, not four-blade. But I was expecting a two-blade, so am OK with that. Haven’t tried it in the plastic container yet. UPDATE: Lid for plastic container doesn’t fit, so is useless for storage! And neither piece is recyclable.

Great, handy device!
I love my Kitchen Aid hand blender! Use it almost daily to make a smoothie in a Mason jar. So easy to use & light to hold. I have dupytren contracture of my rt hand & have no problem using it. Battery lasts for many uses. When I see the red light during a blend, I just recharge after. I dip it/mix it quickly in a glass with some soapy water to clean. Then rinse & towel it off & set aside to air dry the blades. It stores well in my utensil drawer. Great purchase!

Really powerful
Well I’m surprised how powerful this thing is. I had an old Braun and this this is way more powerful. I also like that the entire bottom comes of to clean. And no cord.Definitely recommend it.

I now have all 3 in this cordless set, now thanks to this being available. I had bought the hand mixer first as it’s getting harder for me to hang on to the heavier corded ones , and when i saw that I could finally complete my set with the blender, I was ecstatic. It is one of those investments you won’t regret. I have the little 5 cup food processor as well and I can’t system enough good things about them all. These have made a lot of my tasks in the kitchen just so much easier. I have arthritic hands, need surgery on my dominant hand as I can’t hang on to things that are too heavy. This blender is lightweight and easy peasey to click on, remove, wash, and of course whip up anything fast. The matching food processor is super fast, light as anything and although smaller batches, does as good a job as my little bit more awkward Braun Multiuse. But hey, it’s Kitchenaid quality. What more do you need.

Easy to use. Adaptable. Easily worth the extra money for the tools add-on. Some people may have concerns about the weight, but goes with the territory of having a battery.

The Blender does work very well. The only hassel is that the battery is not very powerful and must be recharged very often. If you are like me and do not remember to charge the battery after every use, you essentially have to wait and let it charge… The corded version seems to be the same and is much cheaper.
