Many definitions missing!
I was glad this dictionary had Khmer “phrases” to learn sentences in Khmer. But the more I need to look up definitions of individual words, the more I realized they’re not there! The single word vocabularies are very limited, even basic words are missing in the dictionary section. And this is supposed to be a “dictionary?”

Fake book
The books that arrived in a Cambodian language cover was just a cut up old engineering text. Do not buy.

We visited Cambodia and Vietnam and we were told that books like these are well received by the locals as they have neither the money or access to such books. We stayed with a Cambodian family for several nights so we used this book to help bridge the language barrier with each other and then gave it to the family when we left. They were very appreciative of it.

Libro molto utile per italiani che non sanno nulla della lingua khmer e che vogliono imparare. Il libro dice sia come la parola si scrive in khmer sia come si pronuncia secondo il nostro fonema. Molto utile se si viaggia e si vuole comunicare con i locali

fab loved it

This book is contemptibly lazy and useless. The transliterations of words and phrases are totally unusable: they correspond neither to the Cambodian spelling (i.e. they are not accurate transcriptions) nor to Cambodian pronunciation. Not worth buying – don’t waste your money on this shoddy production.
