This does better than my Kitchen Aid mixer for bread and pizza doughs
This dough mixer is well built, it’s much quieter than my KA mixer and it doesn’t tear the dough like my KA mixer does, the Joydeem doesn’t mix as quickly but is gentle on the dough.My KA Pro HD 6qt mixer really struggles to mix 80 ounces of bread dough, the Joydeem mixer has no issues with this amount and my dough temperature is 5-7F degrees cooler than what the KA does. My baguette 65% hydration dough turned out very soft and supple. This mixer requires you to adjust your mixing times because of the 5 seconds on and off of the mixing cycle. I ended up mixing for 5 mins for my poolish, add the ingredients, do a 15 min dough mix, rest for 7-10 mins and then finished off with a 10 minute mix time. You will need to play around with adding a bit more H20 or a little more flour near the end of the mixing cycle depending on how wet/dry the dough looks.I really wanted a spiral mixer but don’t want a 85lb+ machine I to need to more around.The mixer has 2 set’s of instructions in both English and Chinese. I don’t know how a 70-75% hydration dough would turn out.Overall I am pretty happy with this dough mixer. I have made 2 batches of dough and both rose great and the bread turned out really good, the dough was easy to work with when shaping.

Nice little dough mixer – hands free and works off a timer for both kneading and proofing. Easy clean up and is lightweight. Being lightweight isn’t a problem — it’s got suction cup for feet so the unit stays put on the counter as it mixes. I love this dough mixer! I’ve already made pizza dough challah, focaccia, and even some Japanese milk bread. Did I already mention I love this dough mixer? It’s an essential appliance now!

Easy, Excellent Dough Maker
The Joydeem Dough Maker makes it easy to make my pan and hand tossed pizzas. I use it to make my yeast bread, rolls, and crusty bread. It’s powerful and the noise level is moderate. I’ve been using it often since May 2024 without problems or issues. I highly recommend it.

Love, love,love this machine
The price was right and the machine works great. One machine does everything. It kneads my dough. And at 75 years old, my arms aren’t what they used to be. Once I see that my dough is where I want it to be, I leave it in my Joydeem and set it to ferment for 1 to 1 and a half hours. My dough doubles in size and my bread comes out so good. I am so happy with with this machine. I would highly recommend this. The “Bear” machine is the very same thing. Only difference is the name. It is the very same as the “Joydeem “.

You can mix dough with up to 2.2kg flour, almost an entire 5lbs. bag!
You can make dough (or meatballs/meatloaf) but that is all this does. It does not whip or make batter. You can buy replacement parts under the Bear brand name. I would give it 5 stars but I wish it came with more attachments like the Bosch mixer. I can use my hand mixer for that though. I made dough with 2kg of flour and it did not even slow down. I let it knead for 15 minutes but it was mixed in less than 10 minutes. When I got done it was easy to clean, too. If you want dough and don’t need lots of attachments this is your best deal right now. It is sturdy and makes so much dough. Forget about a stand mixer. They are too expensive and don’t even make half the dough this mixer does. This is best for making dough if you can’t afford the Bosch mixer. This is a better bang for the buck if you don’t mind a one-trick pony. You will love it, I swear.

Been Kneading a product like this!
I have been using a breadmaker for years, but it was starting to fail me. I only used it to make dough for bread and pizza, so I was extremely excited to see an electric Dough Maker/Ferment product. I have used this 2 times and have been really happy with the mixing and the ferment process. Both of my recipes turned out great (Whole Wheat bread and White dough hamburger buns) So excited to have a less bulky appliance.

Adjustment features need improvement and are misleading
I like the way this gadget mixes the dough. It simulates hand kneading for sure.As for the timer on both the kneading time and ferment timer both of those need improvement. The kneading timer is only adjustable in 5 minute increments so you still have set a timer if you are making dough needing any kneading in between those 5 minutes like 8 minutes or something like that.The biggest disappointment for me is the fermentation timer, it only allows 30 minute increments starting at 1 1/2 hours. So if you need to ferment for an hour as an example then again you need set another timer for yourself.It’s is great for mixing dough but the timers really bother me.There are no measurement lines inside of the bowel so it is hard to determine when your dough has doubled.The fermentation option is misleading, there is no warmer in this machine. The instructions state that if your house is cold to use warm liquid.I will not be keeping this machine. It is basically a mixer with two different timers that are not very useful. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement on this machine.*** update – the bowel did get warmer after a while but there is no temperature gauge. To me it wasn’t warm enough the fermentation process would still take very long time if your house is cooler. I guess that is why they state in the instructions to use warm liquid if your house is cold.

It does most of the work for you. You only have to do a small amount of kneading for the second rising. The bowl is nice & large & mixes the dough effortlessly. The dough rose beautifully in it & the bread was delicious. Very highly recommend this appliance.

Es realmente una herramienta extraordinaria en el proceso de la panaderia. Facilita mucho obtener los resultados, pues la parte más pesada, que es amasar la ejecuta de una manera extraordinaria.. la capacidad es bastante buena hasta 3 kg, obtenemos 3 barras de pan en cada batch, como el de la fotografía.No acupa mucho espacio de almacenamiento, su peso es ligero y es necesario lavarla al terminar de usarla para facilitar su limpieza… Excelente producto. 10/10

This machine does ALL the heavy-lifting!This machine is a bread-making game changer for those of us that want full control over our bakes, perfect rise/ferment (I have a cold and draughty 1920’s home), with minimal effort.If like me, you can no longer, or do not want to, have a heavy duty-arm and shoulder workout while kneading dough…THIS is the answer. Whether it’s regular bread doughs or sourdough…this machine can do it all. BEST money I spent this past year. (see pics)I burned out my (AMAZING) KitchenAid mixer with dough hook – the motor went because of my bread making. I did not want to destroy my second KitchenAid mixer on account of bread…so I bought this with low expectations…I was pleasantly surprised by how incredible and strong this machine is.And also, easy to clean. 🙂

As I was a bit skeptical, my first 3 batches were smaller ones. The machine handled these effortlessly and the gluten was very well developed. Next batches was over 3kg of dough, my normal sourdough recipe, a mixture of whole grain flour, white flour, raisins and nuts. Again, the dough mixer had no issues, didn’t sound laboured at all. I love the ferment feature, seems to keep the dough at a perfect temperature. To replace my 30+ year old kenmore stand mixer would have been at least $700 so decided to give the Joydeem a chance. Extremely happy so far
