Everything I needed for a laptop repair
I have a 10-year old Dell laptop that needed fixing. It started with a hard drive failure. So, I decided to replace the hard drive instead of buying a new laptop. In addition, I needed to replace the keyboard and power button and cable that were giving me problems. This toolkit was perfect for my needs. The laptop, itself has lots of screws that needed to be removed to open up the computer. Also, the keyboard needed to be removed to fully get to the inside of the computer. This toolkit had all that I needed to remove the components of the laptop. Contrary to other reviewers, I found the screw driver bits to be magnetic, which was a big bonus given the small size of the screws and deep recesses to where they attach to the computer. The kit has plenty of driver bits for almost any job. I found that they were quality made and did not strip the screw or the driver head, itself. It also contains some pry tools, suction cups (good for mobile phones), and an anti-static strap that you should use to avoid any electrostatic charges that could wreck your components. All-in-all, this toolkit gave me everything I needed to repair my laptop. Instead of spending $2000 on a new laptop, I purchased a new 1 TB hard drive for $50, a new keyboard for $25, and a new power button and cable for another $25. Add to that the price of this toolkit, and I spent a total of $150 to repair my laptop. It took just an hour or so of my time to install the new hardware and to install a clean version of Windows 10 from a USB drive. Now, my laptop is running like new and should last another 10 years or so. This is a quality repair kit and well-worth the money, even though I did not find the cost to be expensive in the first place.

Awesome cutting edge tech tool kit
Yo, this tech tool kit is sick! It’s got everything you need to fix your tech, build a PC, and more. It even comes with some cool stickers and drivers for those hard-to-reach screws. I highly recommend it. It’s a great value for the money, and the magnetic strength is on point. The drivers are a good size and fit the bits perfectly.

Purchased after reading about it and seeing several on youtube using it….my need is to repair old 64G iphone SE to recover data…the kit appears a very well thought out combination of tools and packaging for the purpose. Great For Repairing Smartphones and Other Electronics!
This kit was perfect for repairing some old electronics that I’ve been holding onto. It comes with almost everything I needed (heat gun excluded for obvious reasons), and they made the repairs super straightforward. It holds all of the instruments perfectly, it’s easy to put things back in place, the sorting tray works great (if numbers of screws are within reason), and the magnet pad works for pretty much everything else. I love how compact the kit folds down to, and I plan on using this for many more repairs!

Very useful.
I bought this set for my son to build and repair computers and he finds them very useful. He said there is a bit, tool or gadget for every screw or fastener he has run across, as well the smaller parts that are hard to get to. Recently he even fixed my eye glasses with one of the tiny screwdrivers. He said anything he needed was there when he needed it – and the case is perfect and had a specific place for all of the pieces.

This kit comes with everything I needed to build a PC. That and then some as I bought a monitor arm and used this instead of the Allen wrenches given and worked perfectly. Definitely a must-have for those who buy products that don’t come prebuilt.

Pros: Company is fantastic: transparent, ethical, and fights for the betterment of the industry. Toolkit is made of durable tools (except for those that need to be flexible to make sure your device doesn’t get damaged) and the screw-drivers are backed by a lifetime warranty. The tips are magnetic (quite strong magnets at that) and the grip itself is quite strong (it didn’t bend working as a lever to straighten my desk). The toolkit itself has a bunch of tools I didn’t know I would find useful and the company website makes me WANT to find time to repair my old broken electronics, something I never thought I would say. I can safely and proudly support this product and this company at this moment whole-heartedly.Cons: Yes, it is expensive. Yes, you can get comparative toolkits with lower-quality parts and less extensive warranties for a lower price. But as someone that cares about tech, the industry going forward, my impact on the planet I and my future kids will live in, and the longevity of the tools I buy, the price is worth it.Conclusion: Buy it. If you need a toolkit that will last you a lifetime and want to contribute to something that is good for the environment, this is the only brand I can confidently recommend. Whether you get the entire toolkit or just the screw-drivers is up to you. But if you care about tech, the right to repair, and your impact on the planet while wanting to be a techie like me, this is it.

Hatte schon länger mit dem Set geliebäugelt.Ich nutze es für allerlei Elektronik Reparaturen (iPhone, N64, BOS Melder, RC Autos…).Das Werkzeug ist gemessen am Preis sehr hochwertig und vor allem durchdacht. Jedes Teil hat seine Berechtigung und funktioniert tadellos.Hatte mir daraufhin noch diverse ifixit Produkte gekauft, allerdings nicht hier.Hier sollte man gut vergleichen, wo es günstiger wird. Einige Produkte des Herstellers sind auf Amazon viel zu teuer und sollte man direkt beim Hersteller beziehen.Im roten Baumarkt bekommt man einige Sets ab und an auch günstiger. Aktuell wird die Project Mat dort abverkauft für sehr kleines Geld.Würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann dies uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

this toolkit has 64 bits with lots of handy tools such as pry opener and the smooth dirver. The driver got me most intrested. The driver has a rotational head on top of the driver and feels premiun. It doesnt feels as a tradition drive. Its using ball bearings for smooth turns. Im impressed
