Really solid all in one laser printer
This replaced a 10+ year old hp300 laserprinter. There was almost zero setup (the toner cartridges were preinstalled.) Two complaints, one not specific to this printer.1. If you want to use with a windows PC, HP makes you install their smart printer app from the microsoft store. This doesn’t always work properly.2. The printer was installed and configured on my home WIFI network. My wife went to print from her laptop, and was prompted for a PIN. Say what? Look at printer console, and it says someone is trying to print using ‘WIFI Direct Printing’, and displayed the PIN to use. I never told it to enable WIFI Direct Printing, and it required a bit of google-fu to find out what the **** that was and how to disable it. Bad move, HP!Oddity: they included a free webcam with it. No idea why 🙂

Very Satisfied
I cannot believe how quickly thing arrived! So far, so good. The only difficulty was in setting up the wifi connection

Absolute Junk
Right out of the box had issues with this printer. Would not connect to wifi. Reset about 10x until it finally connected. Lasted about 24hrs and lost connection again. The single document feeder would also not work. Says constant feeder jam, but no paper jam is visible. Could get no assistance from HP, after a half hour on their line, finally got actual person who literally hung up on me when I asked for tech support. Boxed it up and it’s on its way back.

Print quality fails after printing a couple of pages. Error pages print out a lot.
Do not buy, when I plugged in the printer it printed over 100 error pages. I updated the software and the fuser failed the first day and has black splotches and ghosts printing on every page.

Works Well Until It Doesn’t
I purchased this printer to replace an Epson that I had for years. I loved this printer for about one week. The set up easy, and the speed and print quality were amazing. After about two weeks, I had to turn the printer off and then on to get it to print. After two months, I had to do a hard reset each time I printed. No one has time for that. I returned it, and now I am on the hunt for a new printer.

BUYER BEWARE! Printer will not work if you don’t give HP your personal info
HP has decided that, even though you bought the printer, you cannot use all of the features if you don’t sign up for an HP account! Specifically, if you want to scan something you can’t unless you get an account. Then, if/when you do have an account, you still have to be connected to the internet, and HP’s web site must be functioning (maybe 80% of the time), it “may let” you use the printer that you paid form.
