Great vacuum!
I have to say I was skeptical about buying such a small vacuum.After unboxing I quickly put the attachments on and to my surprise it worked like a charm.The cord is exceptionally long, so I can go around my large living room and kitchen without having to mess with unplugging. The power is fantastic ,it sweeps through everything quickly. It’s nice and light . I love that I can cary it around, that makes it really convenient. This is a really great vacuum at a good price . It’s very heavy duty yet light enough for anyone having some issues with their hands or back . It makes cleaning a breeze. Good job Hoover!!!

Made my life easier
Wish i had found this long ago. It’s very useful. Surprisingly light and has a shoulder strap that can go on one shoulder or crossbody. Great for doing stairs and awkward places, like getting into the couch and behind furniture. The suction is way better than i was expecting (actually it’s great) and the power cord is very long yet easy to put away with it’s snap on to the machine strap. No need to coil the cord around and around, just bunch it together and the strap does the rest. The flexible hose is truly flexible (not like my upright Dyson which is stiff and always a fight to work with in small places like furniture upholstery). All the extension tools rotate into place and stay on! and there are two extension wands. So good for spider webs with the unit on my shoulder. I am sure you will find plenty of your own uses for this. I’m glad i have it. Also its a good price.

Best Vacuum Ive Ever Used/Owned
This is literally the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. It is so lightweight that you can sling it over your shoulder and move room to room with the insanely long cord. The wand and head attachments are so lightweight and versatile it makes cleaning upholstery and hard to reach places a breeze. Ladies you will particularly love how easily it cleans steps without being bulky or cumbersome. It is super powerful. They aren’t kidding when they say industrial or commercial strength. The vacuum head does not have rotating bristles but you barely need them. The suction is so strong it’s picking up almost everything from the carpet. Works great on hardwood floors and is so maneuverable between objects. Well worth the money compared to other vacuums that I’ve used. My 7-year-old was vacuuming with ease as he slung the unit over his shoulder. He and I were just talking about how he freeloads and that he would have to move out soon if he didn’t start pulling his weight. This vacuum saved the family

This will work!
I had a Hoover model that came as an upright only with an over the shoulder vac for attachments. So the package came with two vacuums. That was a quality product! This one will work but is not the best quality plastic the other one was made to withstand. Also the other one came with attachments that pushed together w/o clips. This one has a clip in system and is not the standard circumference of most vacuums. It is much smaller. I do like the design of the hard floor attachment because it does allow enough room at the front to allow the vacuum to pick it up and not just push around the slightly different pieces. I understand the need to market less expensive products so I am ok with the quality differences. The suction is strong which is the most important thing along with the light weight, long cord. I can reach everything!

Best vacuum for floors
I’ve owned one of these vacuums for 10+ years now, I clean houses and they are a must have for floors! Sweeping is a total waste of time, it only stirs the dust around and back onto your furniture. This mighty little vacuum is perfect for keeping your floors clean and is also great for cleaning out your car, cleaning ceiling fans, light fixtures, baseboards, the list goes on. This vacuum is not for carpet and rugs, but for bare floors. It comes with many attachments which is very convenient for other tasks. I own two of these, one for my houses and one for myself. I hope they never quit making this wonderful vacuum, because I will always own one.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !!!!!!!!! Update – reinforce DO NOT BUY
DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT !!!!!!!!! I purchased this vacuum about 5 years ago and liked it so much I ordered another recently. Hoover must have changed the design on the lever that holds the main vacuum hose to the unit and the same lever is supposed to keep the bag door from opening. The new vacuum that I just received has a lever that does not perform the two functions. it either keeps the hose in place or it keeps the bag door closed. The failure of this lever to perform both functions means you need to keep a third hand available (if you have a third hand) in order to keep the vacuum together while you’re vacuuming. Really bad design change. Never had this problem with the same vacuum purchased 5 years ago. Thinking this was an anomaly, I contacted Amazon and they graciously send me a replacement vacuum. I received it today and it has the same problem. The issue is not an anomaly. It seems to have been a very bad design change by Hoover. I contacted Hoover customer service and have yet to hear from them on how they plan to address this issue, or if I need to purchase another supplier’s vacuum. I’ll update this review once I hear from Hoover. In the meantime, stay away from this vacuum cleaner.UPDATE – Hoover did not respond to my email, so I called them and spoke to someone who simply gave me a contact for a local Hoover Warranty claims repair location. Before lugging the brand new vacuum to the repair center, I called them to describe my problem (with two brand new vacuum cleaners). I’m glad I called. The repair center stated that if I brought the new portapower vacuum to them, there is NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM if that is the way the product is manufactured now by Hoover. Wow, who would have expected Hoover to assume their customers would tolerate such an inferior product.

This is a pretty good, portable vacuum. It’s small so requires more often maintenance cleaning of head, hose and bag. I haven’t used it with disposable bags but the reusable, cleanable one that it comes with seems good. You’ll want access to an outdoor area to knock dust from bag after emptying contents. Does not like wood splinters.

Me encanta bien útil para el carro mejor que las de baterías pues porque no te quedas sin batería. Limpiar el carro desafortunadamente requiere más de 20 minutos porque eso duran las baterías de las portátiles y esta caray súper potente súper rápida y puede ponerle bolsita de papel que yo compré así que limpio el carro y tiro la bolsita de papel cuando se llene cosa que no ha pasado porque como es pura tierra tarda mucho y no se llena.

El proveedor despacha muy rápido y la aspiradora viene justo como es anunciada. La he probado y tiene una potencia suficiente para absorber inclusive pedazos pequeños de material, como concreto despues de taladrar. Me encuentro muy satisfecho con esta compra. Creo que los accesorios como bolsas de papel con adaptador son algo caros pero con lo que viene se puede operar perfectamente.
