VERY HIGH QUALITY
This binder looks and feels very nice. There is no strong odor from the leather, nor is it too soft and prone to damage. I use this along with custom calendars and other inserts that I made for work/school. It is a bit heavy, but it is of very good quality and doesn’t seem as if the binding will be tearing from the covers anytime soon. I do, however, wish that were integrated pockets on the inside of the covers and that the rings were slightly easier to open. The price, I believe, is also a touch too high, although the quality of the product is superior to any comparable leather portfolio or folder that I have seen.

This is the perfect “altar book” for our liturgical (formal) church
This is the perfect “altar book” for our liturgical (formal) church. Our church tradition uses a red binder but must have one that is dignified and aesthetically beautiful as it sits on the altar and is carried by the pastor during the service. A service book must also be well-crafted with rings that perfectly align so that the service pages turn smoothly. This red leather binder is perfect for our church service use but would be perfect for any application where a beautifully-crafted binder is desired. After a long search for an appropriate binder, and finding many inexpensive shiny plastic ones, we are very pleased that we found this!

I literally exclaimed aloud in amazement.
I was so impressed when I opened the package that I literally blurted out, “this is incredible!” when I was pulling it out of the box. I stood there, in the kitchen, talking out loud to myself, no joke. First off, it is BEAUTIFUL. Second, it is quite weighty. This is not your average vinyl binder folks… The leather is nice and supple; has a lovely grain. The quality of the 3 ring clasp is excellent and strong and well aligned. The ribbed “binding” looks quite authentic. If you put this on a shelf of other large books, no one would EVER be able to tell it was a binder. All-in-all, I couldn’t be more thrilled. The singular drawback is that there are not pockets on the inside so if you need that functionality, you’ll need to get a folder that can clip into the 3 rings. That said, I’m still thrilled!
