Actually works really well
Very little play in the handle and easy to install hardware. Multiple ways to unlock and a backup key in case technology fails. The app actually functions pretty well, even if there’s a significant delay to connect or perform tasks. Fingerprint reader is surprisingly spry, responsive, and accurate. Overall I’m very pleased seeing as I was almost sure it would be junk due to the obviously Chinese origin. Almost a year removed from purchase and I’m really impressed.

Good product but can be a little frustrating
I debated between a 3 or 4 and went with the 4 because it does what I need it to do. On the PLUS side: It secures my home office door and I’m never worried about anyone being able to go in unless I open the door. On the MINUS side : it can be frustrating at times because it rarely opens on the first try (using the fingerprint feature) so it takes multiple touches to open it and sometimes I have to use either the phone app or key to open it.

Easy install; works as advertised, nice lock!
Bought for my son’s college apartment that he shares with a roommate. Bought one for the roommate’s room, but he declined to have it installed. When our son leaves for classes or is gone, there is peace of mind that his room and his valuables are locked up (not that we don’t trust the roommate, but we don’t know the roommates’ friends that visit). When we visit, we can use the code, or even have a fingerprint registered to let us in tot he room, too!

Stopped working after 7 months
Worked fine at first, then 7-8 months later the finger prints stopped reading. Changed the batteries and had to delete and redo prints several times, and it still won’t read, can take up to 5mins to let in. Worst part is that the manual key stopped working completely!! So if finger doesn’t read, there’s no way to get in?! Tried contacting their customer service but only received bounce back email. Useless!! Save yourself the trouble and do not buy!

Solid internal room lock
Picked up this lock for my bedroom after moving in with roommates. Works great, but the fingerprint scanner is a bit picky, I may rescan fingers and see if it fixes it.App for phone works great as a key and to manage the lock. Was able to install the lock and set it up in about 45 minutes start to complete. Aside from a weak screw driver, everything you need is in the kit.Will definitely recommend this to my roommates.

Overall very happy!
Overall the lock in my opinion is great. It was probably one of the easiest smart locks I’ve ever installed. Once installed and powered (by 4 AAA batteries) it was quite easy to set up. I followed a YouTube video cause I like videos better and the instructions are clearly translated to English. Also I saw some say it died very fast so I bought rechargeable AAA batteries cause I thought I would need to change the batteries all the time. Well they must have gotten defective batteries or locks cause mine is on my bedroom door and is used multiple times daily and it took almost 3 months to die. As far as the finger print that works also better than expected endless you have anything on your finger (including water) it almost opens 100% of the time I did put in multiple readings of my same finger as in my experience that helps so maybe that’s why it works so well for me but overall for the price I really love this lock.

Need Help After Install–Guess What?
For the features at the price point, compared to the competition, this is an outstanding deal, but whether or not it’s an outstanding deal for you depends entirely on whatever ability or persistence you have at filling in the rather stingy documentation that comes with it on your own, which is not to say there is no documentation whatsoever, just that it’s mostly centered around installation, and not so much on how you are supposed to use it after the fact.1st Example? Sure—there is nothing in any of the documentation provided about how to enter a passcode to the door lock–nada.After reviewing past comments, answers to questions, et. al., for clues and much trial and error, however, the solution to entering passcodes to the door lock, after first setting it from the application, is to use a ‘#’ + passcode + ‘#’ format.2nd example? Absolutely–In order to use the fingerprint scanner with the most reliability, once again after reviewing past comments, answers to questions, et. al., it is necessary to scan your thumb prints from a variety of different positions AND using different grip pressure.So to sum it all up, in terms of everything included that was needed for installation, quality control was outstanding (should be noted that the door latches provided are rectangular and not curved), and the installation documentation was detailed enough that I had no problems at all putting it in, it was just the part that came later I think the seller could have maybe put in a little more effort–at least a little more than just copying over 2 pages from the manual of the software maker (see below), but that said, reading through the comments and past questions and answers here definitely provided the help you just won’t get anywhere else–seriously.Little annoyed right now after several evenings spent trying to make scanner and passcodes work, but will upgrade rating later if nothing else becomes an issue later.Guess link to it is not allowed, but there is a manual by the software maker, TTLock, that may be helpful to those who might find additional documentation useful.

I just look at the video and saw that the door Handel needs batteries I never seen before in my life I think it’s a battery in there country origin but they are supposed to bring with the order 2 batteries to turn it on. What Type of Battery are they
