My Cook Pot
I have a dog on a special diet and I needed a bigger pot to cook chicken in. This pot came and so I put it to work the same day. This pot cooked 8 pounds of boneless chicken quick and easy. Then cleaned up in a snap. It’s a great pot

Great quality
I’ll be honest in my cheapness: I bought this because it was the least expensive stock pot this size, without any bad reviews. I’m glad I did. Everything is as advertised. It’s solid, and seems well made. The top fits nicely and it’s nice to have a glass top, instead of a cheap metal cap.I use this for my largest batches of pasta, and for homebrewing small batches of beer. Works great for both. The only comment is that it’s a bit tall and narrow as compared to my other stock pots. In some situations that’s useful, in others it’s less so. It’s a little too narrow to use with my largest strainer. Not a big deal, but worth a mention.

Durable for the price
This pot has many Chinese duplicates floating around. A fair value and constructionis good. The bottom is heavy enough for good heat transfer. There are better pots out there of course, but for the money, it’s hard to beat.

Great buy!
So I was a little nervous when buying this because it was so cheap. My Calphalon is states away and I needed something that we could use infrequently to cook up big batches of sauce or steam crab legs, etc. I read a bunch of reviews on similarly priced stocks pots, a lot of bad reviews. But I needed one quick and it didn’t need to be a permanent addition. My thought was, “Heck if I get 3-4 uses out of it before a handle breaks off or something I’ll be happy”Well that was ridiculous. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this stock pot. It’s big, well built, the glass lid is not flimsy and has a steam vent so it wont be rattling around. It’s stainless steel so I can scrub it with a scouring pad and not freak out if someone uses a metal utensil in it (I’m done with non-stick junk). And while the heat isn’t redistributed across the base as well as some fancier pots, it does a pretty decent job. I haven’t burned anything yet.It doesn’t have the fancy copper-aluminum-steel hybrid base or a hand massage mechanism built in, it’s not self cleaning or anything like that. It’s just a steel stock pot with a glass lid.Works perfect for us when making sauce, soup, chili or steaming crab legs with a collapsible steamer in the bottom.Though I usually try to hand clean it because it’s so big it has been through the dishwasher a couple times and looks no worse for the wear.Comes with care instructions and that’s a bout it.Glad I bought it.

A good pot, nice cover and a good buy – I recommend it
Exactly what it appears to be. Well built but not extremely heavy. I needed this size to make my spaghetti sauce and it works perfectly. I also appreciate the flat bottom as a previous pot I was using had a raised inner rim which caused my sauce, for instance, to sometimes burn. A good pot, nice cover and a good buy – I recommend it

Great quality cooking stockpot
Cooked great! This is a perfect size for stew or small batches of things that need to be steamed. I used a steamer in this to cook a traditional dish and it cooked wonderfully. It’s deep enough for a variety of items and it cooked great. I was very satisfied because this is exactly what I needed. I don’t cook for a lot of people so this was great for a medium sized meal.I’m glad I purchased this…great quality!

Very disappointed – rust spots forming on bottom after 2.5 months of normal use
We bought this pot on January 23, 2015 and were happy with it until we noticed it is developing several small rust spots on the inside bottom already. We have used it moderately so far, maybe once per week, just to make very typical things – noodles, soups, etc. – nothing out of the norm.Unfortunately the return window was only 30 days on this item, so we are stuck with it now. VERY disappointing as this was not a super cheap item to buy as far as stockpots go. Would definitely recommend choosing a different brand over this one if you are looking for a small stockpot. We are extremely disappointed.

Perfect size for my needs
Love it! Love the glass lid so I can see what is going on. My old one was so big that I couldn’t keep it in the kitchen. This one I can.

Used quite a few times and works great! Awesome for soups and is also fairly easy to clean. It’s definitely worth the money.
