    Made me take notice!
Update 2-26-2025Will update again later2-15-2025Had previoulsy purchased and returned 3 irobot stations. All 3 either wouldnt connect to wifi, or had jammed up wheels after 4 uses. Took a long time to map our house and needed the lights on or daylight. This eufy mapped in 10 minutes. Avoided obsticals and vaccum is quiet. The base station is kinda loud but it only goes on when it returns home. App works great so far and have no issues. Real time mapping and routes taken when in use is a great feature. Got stuck on a chord once but didnt give up and redlight anything because of it. Replacment parts in the app make easy order/find. In the event a wheel gets jammed or worn out there are replacment modules on amazon. Only giving 4 stars for the sake of being conservative untill unit is past its return date. Will update laterUpdate.Unit is doing exactly what it should. I can tell where it went and missed from its cleaning history. Does a great job! The areas missed are small but it always gets them the next day. It cleans 1400sq ft through out the day for a total of 2 hrs of cleaning time with no issues from shoes or the lids toys. No hair issues from the cat. Ive checked the bag and it does certainly get lots hair. VERY satisfied with the unit for this update. Changing to 5 stars, and will update again later.

Roller brush is stuck, remove and clean roller
That’s the error you will see every 30 seconds with this device. I originally had bought an X10 after reading all the wonderful reviews and then after setting up finding the “real” reviews of how horrible it was. Eufy support reached out, we tried to fix it to no avail, and it was returned. Hunk of junk.In despair I decided hey, Eufy was so forthcoming the first time maybe I should give them a second chance and buy a less fancy, less expensive model and try it.Big mistake. It’s just as bad as the X10. I set it up, let it do its mapping (which is fast and cool to watch) and then told it to clean the basement. It chose to start its clean in the bathroom. 3 whole minutes in to vacuuming, it declared the roller brush was stuck, please remove it, clean it, and try again. I took it apart, and as it was brand new minus the 3 minutes of run time, the roller was totally clean. I reset it and set it on its way. Tried to head back upstairs and my phone buzzed- “Roller brush stuck..”. I went back and the unit moved all of a foot and decided the brush was tangled again. I flipped it apart and yep. Still clean.Over the course of two days I have watched this robot flail about trying vacuum about 50 or so feet before deciding the brush is stuck and it can’t possibly continue. The provided photo shows it where it’s on flat, linoleum flooring and hopelessly stuck with a roller brush error.I thought the X10 was bad but this unit is exponentially worse. It has yet to fully vacuum a single room without thinking the brush is stuck (so much for that awesome razor cutting technology it says fixes all these problems, it never even goes back to the base to try to cut loose hair that isn’t even there). The battery is good for very little time, and when it thinks the roller is stuck- it won’t got back to the station and charge while waiting to be fixed. It just goes to sleep in the middle of the room waiting for you to come rescue it and reassure it that it’s not stuck. You reset it, it goes another 10 feet, panics again, and stops. These robots are fun little gimmicks but fall far short of actually doing any real cleaning. It sucks (no pun intended), but save yourself the trouble and just buy a regular vacuum. These things are a joke. Just look at the app screenshot. Its erratic behavior is all over the place, not vacuuming in any semblance of efficiency, and still getting stuck with a roller brush error (that it actually doesn’t have). And when it does get “stuck”, does it go back to base to clean itself and attempt to fix? Nope. You have to restart the robot or manually move it. It’ll just sit there all night wasting batter power waiting for you to do something with it. It’s easier just to vacuum the rooms yourself. These are toys and nothing else.

    Absolutely love Spazz!
I just received my robovac this afternoon, and let me tell ya: I already absolutely love it. I have named him Spazz, since the first time using him, he went in all sorts of seemingly random directions and was completely aggressive with ANYthing in his way. I’m talking full – bore, ram into it and push it.Then, as I realized, he was simply mapping his parameters and once he learned them (which didn’t take long) he just did his thing and went right back to the charging station and rested. Here is my feedback:1. I had a little trouble with the app. I tried logging in several different times with several different passwords and I kept getting a very cryptic message, that wasn’t even complete! Just a quick flash on my screen and I cannot for the life of me tell you HOW I ended up finally logging in. But I did and will never log out. Ever. Just in case.2. It took me a few tries (before I came to the conclusion that it was my error not the machine) to get Spazz to connect to the app. Little did I know that since the power station (some like it hot) is positioned relatively close to the Internet router already, I did not need to find it, but simply press the start/home buttons at the same time to reset the wifi and then connect to the app via bluetooth.3. I am assuming Bluetooth always needs to be on in order to control Spazz, but at night when my phone is charging I’ll turn it off and turn it back on in the morning. Not sure I like the idea of always having Bluetooth running since it is a battery drainer.4. I also am not a fan of allowing ANY thing to use my location, except GPS, but alas, if I want to control Spazz remotely (this unit did not come with a remote, btw) I am at the mercy of this requirement. I also have outdoor cameras by the same company, so they know my location already anyway I suppose.5. I like the suction Spazz has: he even picked up a sock that my boyfriend lacksidasically left on the floor. Which caused a red flashing error and the voice on the charging port yelled at me saying to clean the roller brush. So I flipped Spazz over and lo and behold, there was a sock halfway in and halfway out of the roller brush. Pulled it out and good as new. So, suction is AMAZING.6. Speaking of suction, he does a great job of getting up dog hair. I have 2 dogs, one with very thin hair and the other with a wiry undercoat and it is all gone within the cleaning time.7. And touching on that aspect, it really doesn’t take THAT long. Yes, it takes longer than I do BUT I also do not go in any kind of pattern like Spazz NOR do I go over the same area more than once. In essence, he is cleaning my floors better than I do and I’m kinda ticked about it.8. The fact that I can control how much suction he has using the app is great. Even though he features a BoostIQ, changing the suction depending on the material, I still like that I can get a more thorough cleaning using MAX. Does it use more battery? Yes. Does it clean more? Perhaps. Does it make me FEEL like it’s cleaning more? Absolutely.9. The mapping accuracy is indeed, well, accurate. I moved him upstairs to do my two bedrooms and the hallway and at first he was like, ‘uhhhh I haven’t been here yet. What’s going on? Where am I? Who are you?!’ but then he settled down and mapped out the areas just fine and went along his merry way.10. I have to de-snag him from cords every once in awhile and give him a little nudge transitioning from the downstairs hallway to the bathroom, but honestly once he learns his map, he avoids such obstacles and has even figured out how to get over the hump from the threshold in the bathroom. Basically lifts up and scales it like he’s climbing Mt. Everest, which to him, may seem like it.11. I like the fact that he empties himself and any hair caught on the brush is quickly razored away when he goes home. Yes it’s a bit noisy but it’s only for a minute and I’ll take that over needing to manually pull hair out like I have to in my regular vacuum. Not getting my hands all gross is a huge plus. And it really doesn’t seem like there is anything tangled in it anyway. I have long hair but I’m pretty adamant about getting it thrown away even though I know there’s some strands about.12. Spazz’s functionality is top – notch. Nothing has gone wrong, other than the few things with the app connection and the wayward sock incident, as it is now known as.13. The dogs do not seem to be bothered by him at all, just curious as to what this new thing is in their space and my male quickly dis-trusted Spazz to NOT suck up his favourite bone so he snaggled it up and went to another room. My female watched Spazz very intently, just in case he may actually have legs and feet and scurry away. Thankfully she did not try to bite him like she does with my regular vacuum!14. I have a robot trash can (motion sensour) in my kitchen and Spazz knocked into it while mapping and I told him ‘that is another robot. There better not be any interaction between the two of you and don’t even think about communicating.’ Only time will tell what transpires between them. If we don’t turn up for awhile, do a wellness check. If there’s a putrid odour, but the floors are clean and the garbage has been taken out, just know humanity has lost. For everyone complaining it is not immediately perfect right out the box: there IS a manual on line. Read it. Study it. Learn it. Embrace it. If you cannot find the time to actually READ something, watch a video since most people believe that because you watched a 3 minute video, you’re automatically brilliant and know everything about it. It will never be perfect in any way, shape or form. Remember, computers are only as smart as the person using them. Take some time to get to know your machine and HAVE PATIENCE!!

This thing is great we have 2 super shedder dogs that blow their coats in the spring and running this every 12 hours has really kept the dog fur tumbleweeds to a minimum. We have always had issues keeping up with the fur output but it’s taken care of now. The hair cutter also works great never any hair or fur wrapped around the bristles just the very ends need to be cleaned once a week or so,The only cons I see are on max power the battery drains over 1% a minute if you have a larger house you will need to run the power lower or it will need to recharge in between rooms. The filter on the dustbin is also a little on the small side so it will require cleaning more often. Likewise the dust bags in the base are not huge so we nearly filled it in a week vs the advertised 60 days when the dogs were shedding this spring. The base is also loud, like industrial shop vac loud when emptying the robot. With that said it still gets 5 stars from me, it cleans the tons of dog fur incredibly well, the app works good. It avoids everything it could get stuck/tangled in. Running it on the second highest suction it still cleans just as good and has 50% battery left when done as we have alot of hard floor. The self emptying works great just a little loud, the hair cutter works excellent and it goes at least a week without any intervention, 10 minutes of cleaning the robot a week for all the hours of vacuuming is a great trade. Will be looking at the Eufy X10 Omni in the near future when we want a mopping robot!

This is an amazing little vaccuum. We have used it for a month, scheduled it, and it messages your cell with details info when something is wrong to fix. Carpet on hardwood is quite hard to manage, so we took them out. If batt is low, it goes home to charge and comes back to finish the job. It adapts to different furniture locations and our pets don’t mind it.No complaints, so far this thing is very good on our hardwood floors.Reminder: don’t leave loose usb cables, shoe laces or other stringy things around.

Helpful device to do a run of the house, but it does get caught on rugs and wires so I wouldn’t run it when I’m not home. I had it on the lower suction levels at first but it didn’t seem to do much. Helpful to get right under furniture. I wish the bags were reusable- in this day and age to be designing them as single use is irresponsible. I’ve seen reviews of people emptying them with a shop vac or adding a zipper so I will see if I can do that.Mapping feature is great and super easy to use. Breaks the level down by rooms, so you could just choose one room if you wish.

Edit: BEST robot vacuum that I have ever owned for hair. After several months of use, there is not a single hair that is tangled in the brush. Great job Eufy!Going to buy a second one once they go on sale for upper floor of our house. My thoughts belowPROS-The auto hair cutter/detangler is a very unique feature of this vacuum and has withstood tons of my wife’s hair with no problems thus far.-Replacement parts are readily now available (this is a very important consideration for robot vacuums)-Eufy app is great. Had no issues defining rooms once preliminary map was made. Haven’t encountered any significant bugs. Appreciate the “number of uses” and “time spent cleaning” metrics especially.-Suction power is excellent. Have not noted any issues with it leaving behind anything significant/measurable.CONS-No extra replacement parts are included in the box (a small gripe)-Once, the vacuum got lost and abandoned current task, returning home-As expected, the base station is quite loud when emptying out the vacuum. Don’t do this while you are sleeping or there are noise sensitive activities nearby (meetings etc).

So the unit works well and we have been mainly impressed with the lack of maintenance on our end. However we noticed about 2 weeks in it would get an annoying squeaking/squealing noise. Loud enough it hurts your ears. It comes and goes. I know I could contact Eufy but I didn’t buy a time saving robo Vac to sit on the phone with tech support and try be a vacuum repair man. We have decided to live with it but I suspect most would have returned it. Hopefully it’s just a one off. The hair detangling system works well and is the main reason we bought this unit.
