A must buy for Teachers anywhere!!
This is the 3rd one that I have purchased for the school. They are easy to use and even easier to install. This is the only model that I will buy in the future…Great Product!!

Disappointed
I did love it for the last 2 years and then it just died on me while trying to teach a lesson. It wouldn’t connect to the projector. I loved that it can be a stand alone without the computer to teach in the classroom. First I thought it was the connectivity, thinking the USB plug had gone bad but I used the cord on my printer and it worked. Then I tried to connect it to my computer, and my computer can’t see it, which is probably what is going on with the projector. I want to say a lot of good things but since it has only lasted me 2.5 years, it definitely isn’t great!! I expected at least 5 years!!

I wish I could say I loved it….
I bought this document camera 5 years ago. It has always been touchy….from the very beginning. Some days it would work…and others….nope. It finally completely died on me during a lesson. I wish I had invested in a higher quality camera. I hate buying the same tool twice.

Unreliable and epson customer support is unhelpful
I used this product for a year and had difficulties with it intermittently disconnecting from my computer. Customer support warrantied the item and sent me a refurbished unit as a replacement. The refurbished unit did not work consistently on several devices with several cables. I do not recommend this document camera if you need something that will reliably work.

At least you get what you pay for
Software is hard to find and not well designed. The hardware is nice no compliants for it. Wish software was more user friendly and capable.

I LOVE my doc cam in my classroom!! I bought this a year and a half ago because I changed school board and my new board doesn’t provide these to any classroom (so there aren’t any anywhere). I was used to using a doc cam everyday and took a chance on this one and I love it. I can’t think of any drawbacks, nothing major at least. Compared to the one I had at my old school, it’s a bit wobbly but I’m just so glad to have one. I found it relatively affordable. It is easy to use, it can zoom in and zoom out. It comes with the connector cords (as long as your projector is pretty new). It’s been a great purchase!

This is akin to old school overhead projectors however instead of using a transparency it allows you to use any object. So useful!
