Background:I purchased this iron cover to replace one which had breathed its last (so to speak). After looking at a few different covers, I decided on this one.The Good:The cover has a nice, metallic, seemingly heat-deflecting coating on the outer side, which I like. It has a built-in cushioned padding which feels thick and substantial. The elastic around the edges hold really well, and the hook and loop (Velcro) straps make installation and proper fitment a breeze. It also appears to be fairly durable, as I have already inadvertently left the iron plate side-down once for a decent amount of time, and there was no damage to the cover.The Bad:None, as of this writing. I may update this portion of there are discrepancies where longevity is concerned.Conclusion:So far, I am well pleased with this ironing board cover. It’s functional, well-made, aesthetically pleasing, and well-priced. I couldn’t ask for more, and thus, five stars.

Good Fit and Functionality, but Overpriced
I purchased this ironing board cover as a replacement for my old one. It fits my standard-sized table well and works perfectly. The cushion provides adequate support for ironing. However, I do feel that the product is overpriced. On the positive side, the Velcro straps are a nice touch, ensuring it stays securely in place.

Fits Well, Good Quality
This seems to be a high quality ironing board cover for a wallet friendly price. I opted for this type of cover on a second ironing board instead of a cotton canvas cover because it was listed as being waterproof. I use a gravity feed iron with my other board so I never have to worry about water leakage. However, I’ll be using a couple of old, cheap secondhand household irons with this board and wanted something that wouldn’t stain or get soaked by a leaky iron. It was a breeze to put onto the board. The elastic has great recovery but isn’t so tight I needed a second pair of hands to help me pull it on. The cover has two velcro strips that tighten it down and smooth it out against the ironing board. The padding is dense and just the right thickness. I’m happy with it and will look forward to using a possibly leaky iron on it with no worries.

Really nice cover
Just over six months ago I purchased a Checkys Deals Silver Silicone Metallic Wide Top 18″ X 48″ – 49″ Ironing Board Cover and Thick 6mm PAD from Amazon. It is a nice ironing board cover and I was happy with it. One of my cats decided that the ironing board would be a great place to do a little claw cleaning and she put several holes in it. The damage was not a result of any defect in the cover. I am not sure that Kevlar would have escaped unscathed. I tried ironing on the damaged cover but realized I was going to have to replace it as the iron was catching on the holes. I went back to Amazon and decided to look at all the available silicone coated covers and I found this one. This one had more positive reviews than the Checkys cover so I ordered it. I can honestly say that the Epica is, in my opinion, the better of the two because:1. It has more padding than the Checkys cover.2. It fit on top of the old cover giving it even more padding. I had to remove the old cover to use the Checkys cover.3. It has two velcro straps to hold the cover in place. I added two more Dritz fasteners but I doubt I really need them. The Checkys cover has no straps and it moved around a bit. I had trouble trying to use the Dritz straps on the Checkys whereas they fit fine on the Epica.The overall quality of the Epica cover is just better. The one piece of advice I would give to anyone buying this cover is to make sure to install it nose end first. There is more material at the nose of this cover and while that makes for a nice secure fit, it does make it pretty much impossible to put the wide end on first.It is now June 2021 and this cover is still going strong!

Great SMOOTH fit and wonderful finish on the cloth
So far I really like this cover. I’ll amend my review if it disappoints me later. It’s brand new but went on easily. I decided to keep my old pad because it’s still in great shape and I like a thick pad on my board. The new pad is built into the cover so I had to be careful about putting the cover on and not bunching the old pad in the process. I found turning the new cover inside out was the easiest way to do this. That allowed me to hold the “tip” in place as well as my old padding while I worked the edges of the new cover around the board – tip first.The new cover fits tightly which gives me a nice smooth surface to iron on. I did find that I had to iron then brush off the new cover to get rid of the bits of fleece (pad) that were on it from being folded up in packaging. I can already tell that the board gets quite a bit warmer than with my old all cotton cover; so I believe that it does improve my ironing by giving me heat from the bottom as well as from my iron on top. Looks like the beginning of a good relationship.

Fits tightly over the old cover, hence giving additional padding to the board. Hook and loop straps keep everything nicely in place. Iron glides nicely over the fabric. Ironing is now a bit less of a chore. Very pleased with this item.

El burro mide 1.37 m de largo y a penas le entró la funda. Como viene con elástico resistente, se ajustó bien. A lo ancho quedó bien y trae sus dos cintas de velcro para ajustarlo. Se ve de buena calidad el material y las costuras.
