The YOWHICK projector exceeded my expectations! The 1080P native resolution delivers sharp and clear images, and the 4K support enhances the viewing experience. The electric focus makes adjusting the picture super easy, and the WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity work seamlessly. It’s lightweight and portable, making it perfect for movie nights at home or outdoor use. The included screen is a nice bonus. Overall, a fantastic projector for the price!

Great picture and many adjustment options.
This projector is loaded with options for getting the picture perfect wherever your trying to put it. It comes with a screen kit in the package but is bright enough to just use a wall. My wall that is blue still has a great picture with impressive color even with the lights on. The menus are easy to navigate and there are plenty of adjustments to make it perfect. Setup is quick and easy and you can connect a Bluetooth speaker or earbuds or plug headphones or speakers into the back.

Great value
I am really impressed with this projector and have been absolutely loving it. I have been searching for a good projector for awhile now and I can say this has satisfied all of my expectations. There was a lot of different options for me to set up the projector so that I am able to display the screen at the place I want. The visuals are clear and crisp and that was one of my biggest concerns with other projectors. The projector comes with an HDMI cord that I am able to plug into my PC or I am able to screen share using my phone or MacBook, which makes using the projector really easy. I love the clean look of the projector and how easily it is to use. The package also comes with a white sheet to display your projector on as well!

Good projector
The picture on this projector is really clear. The sound quality is also really nice. It’s easy to connect through. Bluetooth seems to be a good quality projector. And it also comes with a screen, which is great.

Good bang for the buck!!
Out of the box it looks really nice, and has a lens cap to protect the projector lens. It includes cables to get started and is simple to figure out one of the many configurations that it can accomodate. We personally used hdmi from a laptop and Bluetooth for a sound bar. The brightness is good enough to be able to see during the day, and at night you forget you are looking at a projected image. You can set the projector to the side and correct the keystone and corners easily. It comes with a large screen to hang but we saw that it looks great just on the wall. My kids have been watching movies on it and in the evening we kick back on the couch and turn it on to watch our favorite shows or movies. The noise from the projector fan is not too noticeable once your content starts, and it has a leveling foot to adjust the height whether you mount it on the ceiling or leave it sitting on a coffee table. I’m sure we will upgrade our sound system and permanence of this projector so we don’t have wires showing in the future but for a quick out of the box experience it was very painless. I didn’t even crack open the instructions. All in all, a great deal for the cost and well worth it for a home theatre experience that’s budget friendly.

Lightweight and easy to use!
Perfect to use in group meetings and when on the go. The projector is the perfect size for a standard projector screen or wall. Great price for a projector generally. I use for slide shows at a meeting that is in a dark room, and you can see everything great! Make sure to protect the lens – the image is sharp!

First thing first, this is ONE of the VERY few budget projectors that I’ve reviewed (just over 2 dozens in the last year) that actually advertises its true brightness in ANSI lumens whereas the vast majority of others have completely and arbitrarily made up and overinflated brightness, contrast ratio, or supported size (or any other spec you can think of) that it can be difficult to really determine which one of those is true (or not).So if you are wondering how does this translate to those bogus lumens that you’d see elsewhere (just so you would have a rough idea to compare it against others), this one has about 6250-7500 lm (based on all the dozens of tests/review that I’ve done). This is also amongst some of the smallest that I’ve reviewed so it is quite portable comparing to most others. The real lumens based on my 9 point (averaged) measurement is around 245 lm (222.7 lx over 1.1m²) which is actually more than the claimed 200 ANSI lumen which is almost unheard of; however, it claims to have 310 lm on the box it comes with so I’m not sure which one is correct. Though, a relatively DARK room is required in order for this projector to perform in a way that provides a pleasant entertainment experience. After playing it around and using it for a few minutes (to get the distance, size, focus, color, and keystone settings right etc), I’ve come to the conclusion that while its brightness is relatively low, it’s still packed with features and the overall usability is quite good; the remote is easy to work with (similar to most others found here) and the user interface is clean and easy to navigate around (similar to a few others). The small size coupled with a 245 ANSI lumen really makes it a truly portable projector that’s quite versatile and useful in many situations. The video quality is generally on par (and perhaps slightly better) with most others that I’ve seen on Amazon that are around $150-$200 with an inflated/fake advertised brightness of 7000-9500 lm having a native resolution of 1080p. The audio quality is noticeably BETTER than most other budget projectors that I’ve reviewed; though, you can’t compare this with ordinary BT speakers rated above 5W. With that being said, it is VERY easy to pair it to a standalone BT speaker which I’ve done as part of my test (with Sony X5 2.1Ch) and that completely changes the viewing experience. The maximum screen size supported (claimed) is 300″; however, it also states that the maximum throw distance is 6.9m which produces a 200″ screen. Conflicting spec is always a warning sign and based on my estimate I’d say 120″ is perhaps the largest screen you wanna use this for in order to maintain adequate brightness and quality with an overall acceptable viewing experience.≡ NoteIn order to calculate the correct illuminance (i.e. luminous flux per unit area), the area of the surface on which the light illuminates must be known;::: 1 lux (lx) is equal to 1 lumen (lm) per square meter.≡ Test setupTypically, the brightness of projectors is measured in lumens so that a 1000 lm projector would have a light output of 1000 lx over a screen size of 1 square meter or 500 lx over a 2 square meter screen (because the same amount of light must now spread over larger area; thus, the ‘intensity’ must be ‘diluted’ and divided by the same amount which is half in this case). While any screen size would work (as long as it’s known), I decided to use 1.1 square meter to simplify the calculation even though it slightly complicated the initial setup. To that end, the projector (from the lens) was placed about 1.75 meters away (irrelevant to our calculations but included here for completeness) from the screen which resulted in a projected screen of an area of 1.1 m² which for all intents and purposes was good enough for what I wanted to do. The screen was 126 cm (~ 50 inch) diagonally. If I were to place the projector/lens 240 cm away from the screen, it would’ve produced a screen of 70″ (177 cm) in size. Note that these figures are for 16:9 screens only. With the projector and everything in place, I then take multiple (10) measurements at the highest brightness (dynamic mode) and the results averaged out to produce the final figures.≡ Real brightnessIdeally multiple measurements should be made, each of which at different locations, in order to have better ‘averaged’ results (i.e. 12 measurements per level) over the entire area but that’s too time consuming so I took only one measurement from the brightness spot near the center which would give us the ‘best case’ scenario in most cases. Speaking of lumens, in addition to white light output we must also consider lumen of color outputs which are usually lower than white output. As such, the overall brightness is likely lower (as are all others). Most importantly though, these clearly showed that the maximum (white) light output was about 245 lumens (per square meter) and it was roughly the same as one of my existing 250 lm mini projector.≡ SpeakerAs far as speaker (rated 3W according to the manual) is concerned, this one is slightly above average in comparison to other budget projectors. It’s definitely not the loudest or the clearest but it’s better than most others out there especially at this price range (and of course based on its size).≡ Other featuresWith respect to other features – the projector itself appears to be well-constructed and the remote is comfortable to hold and easy to use (as most others are). Video quality appears to be fine when the screen size is less than 83″ (max 120″-ish); however, the picture quality around the top and bottom is a bit blurry if the keystone has been adjusted. Speaking of keystone, it’s advertised as being 15° but it appears to be slightly less than that.It has ONLY VERTICAL keystone setting which means it has to be in the CENTER of the screen (instead on the sides). The fan was moderately loud similar to most others out there. It was nice to be able to use USB as an input source but then again, all of these inputs are pretty much standard nowadays and they are nothing to write home about. In short, specs are not everything when it comes to visual representations because they are highly subjective; therefore, I’ve also included a short video so you can be the judge yourself (however difficult, because the room was nearly completely dark in order to achieve this and its size is about 50″).≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a projector that’s slightly more than meets the eye especially when you consider its size and its brightness and overall features. It’s also one of the VERY few non-branded (i.e. not Epson, BenQ, or Kodak etc) projectors that actually advertises ANSI lumens instead of those fake/bogus made-up brightness that nearly all others use and it’s critical to me that I’m provided with ANSI lumens (however, not everyone cares about that). Its brightness isn’t the highest but it is amongst one of the smallest with 245 ANSI lumens which makes this one of the most compact and portable projectors out there (as a budget projector of course). As such, this is definitely one of the best projectors you’d see here considering its compact size, overall video/audio quality, measured spec, physical size, accessories, and overall physical build quality. It’s somewhat reasonably priced at $200 for what it provides for me. There are 2-3 other projectors that offer VERY similar brightness (around 200 ANSI lumens or so) that cost about $150 so you might wanna shop around if that’s something you are interested in.

5 out of 5 Stars (5)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐[TL;DR][QUALITY] (5/5)[VALUE] (5/5)[EASE OF USE] (5/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5)[PACKAGING] (5/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]This is a terrific budget level projector. The first impression I received after opening the box, was that I love the colour – black.I am using this projector in our bedroom, which was ordered to replace a lower quality projector. One thing I love about this projector is the fact that it has two HDMI inputs. I am able to connect our fire stick to access all of our streaming networks on one HDMI. On the second HDMI input, I am able to plug in our television receiver. Before having any projectors in our bedroom, it was a TV free zone. One thing my wife and I now thoroughly enjoy, is winding down a busy day by laying in bed with the dog and watching a hockey game or our favourite episode on one of the streaming networks. With this projector’s better quality than our previous projector, we find that the picture quality is much better on this model. Another thing that this projector had over our past one is the ability to zoom and to shrink the screen size down to 50%. This allows us to fit the screen perfectly on a wall that also has a door on it.The Bluetooth on this model is excellent. We use a 100 Watt speaker that is Bluetooth ready for our sound. This makes our experience that much better. Although the speakers on board are OK, they do sound like small speakers. This projector would also connect awesomely to a Bluetooth enabled headset. My only complaint with this model is the length of time it takes to start-up after pressing the power button on the remote. There is a significant lag. Sometimes when I press the power button on the remote it can take up to 10 to 15 seconds for the projector to power on. I cannot explain why this happens. All in all there is so much to love about this projector. We are really happy with this order, and not only would we order a second we would recommend it wholeheartedly. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

This is pretty good. It’s not amazing but certainly does the job and is good value. It’s not as compact as other similar items but these aren’t something that needs to be carried in your pocket!Easy to setup and use. Brightness and picture quality is pretty good too. It’s definitely worthy of a 4 star review. As described and competitive pricing.

This is a nice budget projector. It lack a bit in brightness, contrast and color saturation but at this price point, it is above average. I tried another YOWHICK projector not too long ago that was in the same price range and this model is a nice upgrade over it. The picture is sharp throughout the screen as long as I don’t use any keystone adjustment. It is easy to setup. It is also not too loud and light. This is a 1080p projector that support 4k content. I did feed some 4k signal and it worked. There is no streaming app of any kind with this projector which I think was a wise choice. Anything in this price range with onboard streaming won’t do a good job with those apps anyway. It does give the option to mirror and cast your other device. I was able toAirPlay and mirror from my iPhone easily but I couldn’t get a reliable stream from my Mac. When screen mirroring the projector would get stuck on a frame mostly when I go full screen with a video. I didn’t bother troubleshoot it. Third partyAirPlay Screen Mirroring is always shotty at best and some streaming services like Netflix don’t even support AirPlay. I also played a video from a USB drive and streamed over the HDMI using a Fire TV Stick 4k Max. As opose to AirPlay, it worked reliably. The speaker sounds okay for a budget projector. It’s definitly better than my other YOWHICK projector. The audio is listenable but any $25 bluetooth speaker will be miles ahead. The best way to describe the sound of this projector is muffled. Again, it’s still very listenable. The projection screen that come with this is simply a white cloth with black border and has metal rings around the edge to hook it to the wall. The hooks are dollar store plastic hooks. Obviously, it is not an Ambient Light Rejection screen. Regardless, this is a nice touch.Using this projector in anything else than a perfectly dark room is not recommended. It has enough light to overtake a bit of ambient light but some details will e lost.I really like that it is small, light and quiet. A boost in picture and sound quality would have been nice but that would be at least $100 added to the price tag.

I have tried a few different projectors at this point and while they may all vary wildly in features and experience, most generally lie about their capabilities when it comes to brightness and clarityI think this projector is one of the few that I have found that seems quite streamlined and stable but also that I genuinely believe the video quality.I have tried options from 1080p to 4k and they have very palpable differences and even streaming with 4K I didn’t sense too many lagging issues which I thought was marvelousI really liked how plug and play easy it was to use. It doesn’t require an app or any 3rd party, we just connected it to the Wi-Fi and were able to start streaming pretty immediately!I liked the stereo sound but I probably wouldn’t rely on it for a cinema experience. So would reccomend adding other speakers. The functionality I found pretty easy to devise even without the manual but the manual is also laid out super well!Great pick up for the price and a great projector!
