Premium Upgrade
This Aurzen EAZZE D1 Pro projector is a nice step up from the EAZZE Series D1. They clearly listened to feedback because the design is a lot cleaner looking (but it could be due to the black color) and it feels more premium this time around. The remote, in particular, looks and feels high quality.Native 1080p resolution, nothing new here, but it rensures a sharp picture, while HDR10 support brings vibrant colors to life. Don’t let the “portable” size fool you, this projector boasts 350 ANSI lumens for a bright image, even in a well-lit room.Audio is a key feature, and the Dual 10W speakers are a step up from the 8W, but you also have the option of connecting to external speakers via Bluetooth 5.2. (Because sometimes you need to rattle the windows, right?)Convenience is king with this projector. Built-in Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video? Check. Auto focus and keystone correction? Absolutely. Setting up the Aurzen EAZZE D1 Pro is a breeze, so you can spend less time fiddling and more time enjoying your favorite content.I got the Series D1 projector over the summer for parties and outdoor movie nights and now the pro is a nice upgrade to have inside and then the basement into a theater. Great quality projector for a fair price.

Great and affordable projector!
This projector exceeds expectations with its excellent performance, practical design, and value for money. The packaging is eco-friendly, using recyclable materials to securely hold the projector. Setup is easy, with a straightforward Bluetooth connection and a sturdy, sleek remote. The projector is lightweight and portable, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. While the built-in sound works well, pairing it with an external speaker enhances the audio quality significantly. The image is clear and bright, and the focus adjustment feature helps eliminate blurriness, making it a great option for those seeking a high-quality viewing experience. Overall, the D1 Pro offers excellent value, given its performance and included features.

Best projector
My perfect little backyard cinema!I was on the fence all summer about getting a projector for my backyard, as I was fed up with bulky TVs that took up too much space and still had washed-out colors even in the dark. After thorough research, I chose this 5G smart projector, and it has exceeded my expectations.I was able to project a stunning image of over 15 feet onto the side of the house, and the picture quality stayed excellent even with some ambient light. Connecting an outdoor speaker was straightforward, but the built-in 20W speaker is powerful and immersive enough on its own. Guests have been wowed, making it feel like a true outdoor movie theater.Setup was a breeze with automated focus and keystone adjustments. The picture quality, color, and sharpness are top-notch. The projector is portable and comes with built-in apps like Netflix. With summer winding down, I’m already excited about future uses—movie nights, background music videos for gatherings, and even a spooky Halloween backdrop for our annual party.

Pleasantly surprised for a small projector!
The size, design , speakers and image quality is pretty great. Also to mention Ease of setup was super simple and straightforward as well as the wireless connectivity being fast. I do like that the power source is external since it doesn’t over heat inside the projector. But overall for the price not bad at all. I also ran my PS5 on it and ran great and I didn’t notice much lag or screen tears, so it’s cool for gaming anywhere or even if you go camping. The only issue I had with this project compared to their other ones is that the auto keystone feature you would have to exit to menu then go into the settings in order to use it when on the other one there was a dedicated button which you can do even while being on Netflix, YouTube or any other application. But still would highly recommend if you’re looking for a good price on a good projector.

Great Value for Price. Sharp and vibrant picture quality.
The D1 is a pretty great projector especially considering it’s reasonably priced. Some other projectors I’ve used have had issues with blurry and washed out image quality but the D1 has great image quality. It’s best for low light usage so the darker the room the stronger the image. The auto focus is exceptionally good at making sure everything is in focus. Upon moving the projector to a different angle it automatically engages the focus and angle adjustments including perspective adjustment to find the perfect setting for the image which I really love.I like all the inputs on the side of the device so I can use other equipment along with it (hdmi and 2 usb’s). I was pleased to find that when plugging in my external amazon fire stick into the HDMI port that the D1 pro remote automatically switched so I could use it with the amazon stick, no need for two remotes.Audio was better than expected and I was able to get it very loud without distortion. The adjustable knob on the underside makes for easy height adjustment. The setup was easy and connecting to Wi-Fi was quick!Note to the manufacture, I’d like to see a better fitting lens cap if possible. The one that comes with the D1 does have a tendency to fall off without much effort.A heads up for anyone new to projectors… they do have fan noise. I don’t have an issue with it and realize it’s inherent in types of projectors with large internal fans to cool the unit. The D1 fan noise is typical of other projectors in it’s class. I just mention it because it’s good to have realistic expectations when purchasing a projector vs other equipment like TV’s which typically have zero noise.Overall I am quite impressed. It’s been great so far and I’m excited to watch more movies. I just love how big of an area it covers and really makes movie watching very cinematic. I have no problem recommending this to someone looking for a projector, lots of bang for the buck.

I recently received the Aurzen EAZZE D1 Pro Smart Projector, and I’m quite impressed! The Dolby audio, along with the 20W speakers, produces incredible sound quality, offering a full home theatre experience. The picture is extremely sharp, and the colours are vibrant—it’s a pleasure to watch movies on this. Furthermore, it comes pre-installed with Netflix and YouTube, so you can simply log in and begin streaming without the need for any additional devices, which is really convenient. My favourite aspect is its ease of use.The autofocus and keystone correction function flawlessly without any manual tweaks. Just plug it in, and it will automatically adapt for the greatest picture quality—smart! The WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity are seamless, making it really simple to cast content from my phone, and the Bluetooth remote is extremely responsive with minimal lag. I set it up in our game area, and it’s been great. My spouse plays games on one side of the room and I watch movies on the other, and none of us gets distracted. The sound is clear and powerful enough for both of us to enjoy our individual activities. Honestly, this projector is well worth the money—I definitely recommend it!

I don’t have a dedicated theater room or anything like that nor do I even use a proper projector screen. I got this projector so that I could watch tv shows and movies from bed in our room and so far we absolutely love it! I simply have the projector on the shelf above the head of the bed and it points at the wall in front of the bed. For this kind of basic setup, this projector is just awesome! The projector can playback content at 1080 resolution, of course with a larger screen it is not as sharp as 4k playback but I find the image to still be super clear and enjoyable to watch. Text is super legible even with smaller on screen text, would be good enough to read text while playing a video game. It is fairly bright, especially for a projector in this price range. I have curtains which removes direct sunlight to the room (not pitch black whatsoever) and the projector still preforms quite well with a clear image. I would not recommend using it with direct sunlight but still preforms well when not in full darkness. Obviously for best result, full darkness is ideal. At night, this looks fantastic! As with all projector, there is a fan to keep everything from overheating, you can definitely hear it but it is not as loud as other projectors I have used. Personally, when watching something with the volume up, the fan noise kind of disappears and I don’t notice it anymore. The software is pretty great, it has WiFi and Bluetooth as well as some preinstalled apps. I am pretty sure it runs off a custom Android build but it does not seem to have access to the Google Play Store so apps can be limited. However for me, it includes Netflix, Amazon Prime, Plex, and YouTube already installed, these are the apps I will end up using 95% of the time (other major streaming services apps like Hulu and Disney+ are available). It does also have an HDMI in so you can plug in pretty much anything (a laptop, Roku stick, gaming console, etc.). The OS is super responsive to, navigating the menu and booting up apps is snappy and responsive. The remote is also great and has a more premium feel to it. It offers lots of auto adjustments which I think are great, you may still need to tweak some of it but makes the whole process faster and less painful. It has auto focus but also can be manually adjusted directly from the remote, this is great as it means the projector does not need to be easily accessible to make the adjustments. It has built in speakers, they are not amazing but totally fine and usable, about as good as I would expect them to be. You can easily pair a Bluetooth speaker or plug one in using a 3.5mm jack so lots of options on that front.Overall I am super happy with this projector, it is still on the budget side but offers some nice premium features, a quality OS, fairly bright, great image quality, and overall super easy and quick to use.

Aurzen has built a pretty impressive mini-projector in a small form factor with this unit, and compared to some of the other 1080p models on the market that I’ve tried, it’s well worth the $200 CAD price tag (with a $100 coupon applied) at the time of this review. It has a number of features that are leaps-and-bounds better than the $120-140 projectors I’ve used, although the mounting system could be better.POSITIVES / GREAT FEATURES:1. Sound quality onboard is nothing short of fantastic for the size. The other mini-projectors I’ve tried just below this price point frankly struggled to output reasonable sound and were often muted or overpowered by the projector fans (which are loud on all of these units). Not an issue here – the onboard speakers fill the basement with ease even at low volume. One point of note: the main volume increase is notable between 0 and 50. There is very little perceptible difference in volume between 50 and 100, which is odd. That said, 35 is MORE than loud enough in my open basement, so the odd scaling doesn’t really matter.2. Setup. This has a step-by-step integrated setup that walks you through; no mysteries here. Menus are clear, and the settings are simple to navigate. Navigation can be done by surface-mounted buttons or the included remote.GOOD, BUT COULD BE BETTER:3. Automatic focus and keystone. In theory, this is very much a point-it-at-your-projection-surface-and-go projector. Very little messing about is required if everything goes smoothly. However, especially in brighter environments, it can sometimes fail to fill the projector space, so there are some manual controls available through settings. Unfortunately, there is no manual projection size setting so if it doesn’t manage to correctly get your screen filled, it’s a matter of trial and error to get it close. It’s easier in darker settings.4. Bright, but not bright enough for daytime use without limiting ambient light. This can be an issue even with extremely expensive projectors so I’ll be forgiving here, but be aware that if you want to use this to replace a TV in daytime, you will need to darken the room.5. Included software package. Yes, you can input your login credentials for Netflix, Prime, etc and some other apps included or downloadable, but it doesn’t appear to be Android and I’m not sure how much I trust the software it comes with. I opted to use an HDMI cable to a PC, or a Chromecast, both of which work great.CONS6. Power is via an included switching adapter brick, much like a laptop charger, that uses a 29V 3.8A (110W) ouput which is an unusual configuration. Strain relief on the brick isn’t great either, so I worry that the cord could fail and finding a replacement adapter could be a serious inconvenience.7. Mounting system. They’ve included only a 1/4″-20 screw mount for a camera tripod, which works fine for portable or upright use but is less than ideal for a ceiling mount system. It would have been preferable if they included both the 1/4 and the universal 4-point screw mount system used by most larger projectors.Overall, a great little mini projector at this review-time price point of $200 CAD. If priced higher, I’d recommend shopping around as there are some limiting features here that could be better, but at this price the video/audio experience is top-notch.

Surprised by the quality of the projector. It is my first projector and can not complain about it. Excellent sound with the built in speakers. Does not replace a soundbar or other sound systems, but offers a decent experience with dbx and Dolby.Image quality is great at 1080p, with lots of detail when projected at 100inch. Indoors and in darkness really offers a true cinematic experience, however during daytime it loses some detail, depending on the amount of light in the room. The auto focus and auto keystone also works without any issues, and resizes well. The fan will make some noise but does not bother me and it is not perceptible when using the built in speakers while watching movies or other content. The projector is easy to setup, and has built in apps like Netflix, Prime and Youtube, but paired with a Firestick 4K via HDMI really delivers a great experience and access to other apps.Overall it is a great and solid projector to enjoy content at a reasonable price.
