Love this Dewalt charger! I was surprised how light and portable this charger is. I’m a big fan of Dewalt products and this charger is rugged like all my other tools.

Over almost a year of use, this product is used several times a day by either me or my coworkers, and I only had 2 problems. Overall it works well: Does what it’s supposed to do, and does it quickly. but here’s why I recommend spending a couple extra bucks on a warranty.*** Problem #1: Cover for Charger PortThe little flap that covers the charging port has a chord that is easily pinched by the clip, and over time it couldn’t retract it was just in the way and needed to be cut. This isn’t really that big of a deal unless you are in an area where dust and debris can make it in there, I think you could just cut it off and the problem’s solved.*** Problem #2: Charger PortThis thing caved in on me entirely. I went to plug the USB in, and the receptacle had been pushed out of place somehow. I have no idea how it happened, I’ve had it a little less than a year. It is heavily used by me and just about everyone I work with, but due to this reason I recommend the warranty.
