amazing once finished
I’m no stranger to putting stuff like this together, and it took me almost two hours to put it together. A few pointers:Only like 5 boards were labeled. Be careful, I messed up and switched two of the drawer sides not realizing it made a different and had to just make do with what I had, ended up splitting some of the wood, but not in a noticeable spot and I don’t think it will hurt it moving forward. The bottom drawer sides are different than the two top, and looking back I should’ve realized it, but when I was going through the boards, I didn’t notice a different in the boards. The instructions are your typical terribly translated into English instructions and ended up using them as a basic guideline because they weren’t very helpful.Only the top drawer locks. Not sure why the drawer that will actually have sensitive documents in it (aka the actual filing cabinet drawer) doesn’t lock, but yeah I now have a drawer that I can lock. That I will never lock.It will easily tip over if you’re not careful. I have my printer on top of it, and I definitely have to be super careful when moving it at all. It also is sitting on carpet, so that could be what’s causing the issue, but even still, be careful when putting anything on top.Overall, the end product look so much better than I thought it would. It definitely not a super sturdy piece (I prefer solid wood) but honestly, one of the best I’ve ever seen in terms of quality and sturdiness. Overall, this is an excellent choice and I recommend this product.

Just what I needed
I work from home and needed something to get my workspace organized. This storage cabinet was the perfect solution. My huge work printer fits perfectly on top and it offers plenty of storage for my work binders and safe keeping with two locking drawers for all of the more important documents. I love the price point on this cabinet and it’s a good quality cabinet for what I needed. All the parts were well labeled making assembly easy and quick.

Good Value
I received this and it was really easy for me to put together alone. Although it was time consuming (had to take a break in between), it was pretty easy. My only down fall is that all drawers don’t lock. I had already gotten halfway done before I realized. The description did not indicate this. It will serve its purpose.

Junkie File Cabinet
It is absolute junk. It’s particle board and not very sturdy once you finally get it put together. The instructions are pictures! No written steps.I felt like boxing it back up and returning it but, we had to drill a few holes forscrews (holes were not pre-drilled) to screw the corners down on the bottom. When drilling one of the holes we missed and messed up the side panel. So, we’ll try and use it but, most likely it will end up on the burn pile real soon.Definitely not worth the money.Sorry.

Issues with installation
First off, the filing cabinet looks nice and is fairly sturdy. As for ease of assembly, it gave me some difficulty. Some of the holes I had to use a lot of force just to get the screws in. I had to press the end of the Screwdriver into my palm to get the screws in and almost stripped a couple of my screws. I ended up leaving those alone as long as I could get them far in enough to be functional since I couldn’t get them flush with the surface. One of the areas that wasn’t screwing in properly was the railing for the cabinet. I really struggled trying to get it remotely flush with the surface and it kept catching on the screw when I tried to put the drawer in. To install the railing, you had to flip back to the front of the directions to figure out how to take the pieces apart, after taking them apart you end up with sticky residue all over your hands. I ended up having to keep washing hands and ended up wearing disposable gloves during that installation to keep the sticky residue from getting all over the cabinet and my screwdriver. Also the holes in the directions for the railing didn’t quite match and were confusing what I had so I ended up lining it up and choosing whichever holes seemed correct. I screwed it in as far as I could so that it was functional. The metal rods for the bottom filing cabinet keep shifting to the outer holes (I need them on the inner ones) when I was putting in my files until a got enough in that it had a little weight to keep them from shifting. Another issue is that if you put label tags on your files for your bottom drawer, they will catch and the drawer won’t close all the way. A couple of wheels took some force to put in, I almost thought I was going to break something. The palm of my hand was aching and tender for the next 36hrs after installation. I have rheumatoid arthritis so if you have arthritis this might not be the best cabinet for you. Mine is manageable and I still have my grip strength but this will definitely cause problems for others.

Impressive flatpack, great value!
This cart is perfect for my office, but when the flatpack arrived I immediately worried. Box corners looked worn and how many parts would there be? These are not typically my strong suit. My experience was exceptional! In an hour and a half, following the many paged and well written guide, I was finished! Drawers, especially files with full extensions, are a usual fail point for me but this one went perfectly! Inside the packaging the box corners were protected by sturdy, hard plastic made for shipping. Every predrill was perfectly placed and depths were consistent throughout. Every component well labeled, and i used my own tools for personal comfort but the enclosed would have been sufficient. Honestly, if Devaise consulted with other flatpack makers, the format would probably receive a much improved reputation. Perfectly sized, functional and nicely finished appealing cart, welcome to my office! You’re a keeper!
