Fantastic Bread Machine
I have owned 4 different bread machines. I was looking for a double paddle large loaf. This has a 3 pound loaf and double paddle. It comes with recipes for use with this machine and it makes beautiful loaves and everyone in my family love it. If you follow their directions you will get a perfect loaf. Machine is very easy to clean.

So far so good
This makes huge loaves, too big for our 2-person household, but I was specifically looking for a machine with two paddles and a motor tough enough to handle my 3-lb whole wheat bread recipe that I’ve customized over the years (and that finally burnt out our KitchenAid), and didn’t want to spend $400 for a Zojirushi. I did make a regular loaf from the manual (minimally helpful and badly translated) and it was OK, but when I ran my own recipe through the “dough” setting and shaped it and baked it in the oven results were spectacular. The machine handled it effortlessly. I contacted the manufacturer with a question, and received an immediate reply. It works fine and does exactly what I bought it to do, so I’m giving it the full 5 stars.

Wow…this machine exceeded all expectations! I was looking specifically for a 3lb loaf machine for under $150 and took a chance on this, the pic is of my first 3lb whole wheat loaf baked today. Bonus I can do jam and yogurt in it too!So easy to use, instructions great and clear, and recipes for all types of bread. Also include troubleshooting advice and other information.I am in Canada and bought the ‘bread machine’ yeast. I did buy this before the tariff threats from our ‘neighbour’ so another week and I wouldn’t have bought it.But I am pleased with it, love it and hopefully will last a long time 🙂 Thank you.

Getting the bread pan in the right position on the clips can be fiddly but in makes a nice loaf of bread.

I have only owned this machine a few weeks so can only comment on first impressions. My biggest dislike is the effort required to insert the bread container into the machine, followed by the fact you need to insert the bread pan prior to putting the ingredients into the pan. This is per manufacture instructions based on the requirement to put the paddles in AFTER the bread pan is inserted into the machine. Flour likes to “fly”, which will lead to a messy machine. My previous bread machine (a single paddle Black and Decker) lasted from 2009-2025. The paddle stopped rotating however the electrical components still function. It was a “twist to lock /unlock bowl” to insert and remove. So EASY to get the pan in and out. This snap in snap out concept, don’t recommend. With a 2 paddle, not sure if there is another option however it is so tight and difficult to pull out the final “hot” loaf pan that on my 2nd use, I actually pulled the handle off the pan trying to remove. Inserting the pan securely without scratching the inner machine with the edge of the pan is also a challenge as it is hard to press the pan straight down. If you don’t insert the pan perfectly, the pan will bounce out of position. If you don’t grease the paddles it is even more difficult to remove the bread. I did not have fret with any of this with my previous machine. I am glad that a tool is provided to help remove the “baked in” paddles from the finished loaf.As far as the quality of the end product. I can only comment on two settings at this time. I have used the “basic setting” for a dark rye and a white sandwich bread and the “butter milk” setting for a loaf I usually make by hand. The rye and sandwich worked well, the milk based bread I won’t do in the machine again as it is far nicer made by hand. The taste and texture was not at all the same.I like the larger bread pan as my previous machine made “taller” loaves. This was only a problem when you wished to have toast as the slice did not fit properly into a standard toaster. As much as I live in Canada, I would prefer the weight settings in pounds (or metric & imperial). The 2lb (1000g) setting has made for interesting bread shapes as I typically have an uneven bread, raising higher on one side to the other. The 2 3/4lb (1250g) setting, a little more consistency on the rise. I have not used the 3 1/4 lb (1500g) setting yet, and probably won’t. I purchased this machine in order to make more dough in one go. You can’t use 7 cups of flour in smaller machines. I am looking forward to trying out this setting on our next pizza night.Overall, the cook of the bread is even and the light setting is a perfect colour for my preference. I found the yeast requirement, lower. This is based on my previous bread machine recipes in comparison to the “generalized” bread recipes provided in the instruction manual. My last comment is a weird black powder that looks and feels like graphite; perhaps it is. This substance is now appearing on the base of the paddle posts as illustrated in the photo. Is this excess lubricant? Is something rubbing incorrectly? Not sure at this point as it appeared after the 3rd use.
