Amazed at how well this actually works!
Bought this for an upcoming trip, so I could make protein shakes in the hotel room. This is very compact, I love how you blend right in the cup and then detach the cup for on the go. Also that the blender piece has a separate cover for the blade, so I could pack the blade and cup separately. Many personal blenders seem to have the blade permanently attached, which seemed too bulky to lug around on the beach. This was the perfect solution and I’m amazed at how well it worked, even crushing ice for smoothies, at such a small and convenient size. Charged great, too, no issues with power running out. It’s small and cute enough and so few parts that I just keep it out on the kitchen counter. One tip: you do have to align the arrows perfectly to blend, there must be some sensor that triggers the power. One day I thought it was dead but I only had the arrows misaligned slightly.

DO NOT BUY THIS DOESN’T WORK
Awful. Can’t get it to turn on. Tried troubleshooting methods recommended by manufacturer and still power blinks four times and turns off. Blender doesn’t even come on. DO NOT BUY

Good for what I need
I liked this portable blender. It’s easy to use, clean, and store. I just got it but i’ve been using it everyday. The best part? It crushes ice like magic!

Eh…not for me
I was a tried and true Magic Bullet user from day one. We’re talking 2000-and -something-ish…way back. I loved how much easier it was to use than the typical counter top blender from days of yore. Not only was it a breeze to use but it was compact with the screw on top that doubles as a drinking cup with custom lid…can you say genius??? The personal blender was like taking the bullet to another level. I’m in! I ordered the Dash because I have a few of their products so I am familiar (and more importantly happy with) the brand.Once I opened the box and saw the size of the blade, I had my doubts. I tried to use it with a mixture of fresh and frozen fruits (plus water) and it kind of started to blend but the blade quickly got stuck and quit moving. I tried to jostle the fruit and water mixture around before turning it back on but nothing changed. It was a done deal. So I broke out my old tried and true to finish out the job that little Dash couldn’t. I think if I was a powdered shake drinker who didn’t like a little crushed ice blended into my smoothie, this would be great. But, I could also save myself $40 and just use a spoon. I think until they find a way to use a more powerful blade, this will be an issue for me and any personal blender on the market so a Magic Bullet gal I remain.
